I’ve found heaps of rubbish in mulch. It’s probably because it’s sourced from council bins and people throw contaminants in green bins. I only use pine bark or cane straw now, because I have higher confidence it won’t be contaminated.

I suspect my doctors has now got an automatic pre-recorded message you have to listen to before reception pick up the call. They always used to answer pretty quickly, but in the last year literally never pick up. Automated ‘Welcome to blah blah. If it’s an emergency hang up call 000. You can now make appointments online at blah blah blah details, opening hours, useless info’ etc and it goes for a full several minutes before someone picks up. I think they are trying to minimise answering calls. Look I know how to use the online bookings, if I’m calling it’s because I have a question. Annoying.

I saw it on tv. I tried to google find a clip for you, but seemed to be a struggle to find it (maybe Olympic content is licensed?). Anyway, this one has the highlights. Breakdance

Social media content is purposefully designed to keep users on there for as long as possible. Because more data collected, more advertising presented, more $ for the owners. It’s designed to keep you watching and not realise the time passing. Most people don’t even realise it’s messing with them, so you are already winning just from that.

The sunny sky today has given me a lighter mood. And is going to be 20C the next few days!

So generous. It’s the olympics souvenir of french gastro microbes you get to take home and keep for several days to weeks after the games.

I’ve just caught up on the Australian breakdancer. It’s so very bad. The sprinkler and the play school kangaroo hop moves were great, but the sprayed roach was glorious. I watched on repeat laughing. 5 stars.

We should use youse because the English language would benefit from a plural you; it’s Austalian instead of the y’all the yanks invented, and ye has gone out of fashion.

I can make a good sandwich but not crochet a hat, so you’re one up on me.

Probably about time for hot cross buns to be in the shops then.

I like both but mostly have eaten savoy so maybe a small preference due to ‘used to itness’ (I’m sure there’s a proper word for that) However, I do love a fancy cracker with a cheese plate, like the various flavoured ones, wafers, pita crisp etc. Poor Jatz and Savoy have a lot of competition.

I’m really tired of the enshitification of clothes. You used to be able to wear, wash, even tumble dry a tshirt for years before it wore out. Now they go out of shape after a single wash. I would happily pay for good quality if it existed, but the extra $ for expensive brands is paying only for the logo, not quality. I’ve had a comedic realisation this is what it will be for the rest of my life, I don’t see clothes quality going back to how it was. RIP my wardrobe forever. Welcome to the future - no world peace, flying cars or spaceships. Just shitty tshirts.
