So sorry to hear. Hopefully you can find something that suits you better.

I like this one and will choose to believe it.

Reminds me of a headline I saw recently โ€˜study finds early childhood tablet use linked to tantrum outburstsโ€™. No-shit-Sherlock-scientists. Theyโ€™ll soon discover water is wet too.

Adjustment means they can make exceptions if your disability requires it. The job requirement part depends on the reasons, eg if being present is an inherent part of the job, (it would be impossible to be a hairdresser via zoom), then the adjustment can be refused. But if itโ€™s only for social reasons, there may be some flexibility. You donโ€™t know until you ask! Itโ€™s also possible that the employer can make the adjustment at the workplace. For example if a person canโ€™t use stairs, and building doesnโ€™t have a lift, then make sure they are situated only on ground floor and all meetings are held in accessible rooms etc. I know itโ€™s not always easy to approach employer and some of them might be dismissive of requests. Butโ€ฆ if itโ€™s a choice between suffer and maybe have to quit work, or ask and possibly get some accomodations thereโ€™s no harm at all in asking.

NDIS is unrelated to workplace disability laws. If you need accomodations at work due to disability, you can approach HR at your workplace to discuss your needs. Maybe have a look at fairwork Australia website to see what the rules are and how to make a request.

If you use the finish ones, Bunnings or Reject shop are the cheapest.

Watching a documentary on Pompei. Would love to visit one day, itโ€™s fascinating. Putting it on the bucket list.

Unseasonal burst of warm weather is over. Resume standard winter operating procedures. In bed, electric blanket on, rainy weekend ahead.

Is this a bigger place (like Box Hill, holmsglen, Swinburne etc) If so ask them about advice on alternate courses and could they help you enrol at another institution, seeing as they cancelled the course. No guarantee they will say yes, but hopefully they may be able to help. No harm in asking. But from your previous comments though, sounds like there was lots of stuffing around anyway, so Iโ€™m wondering if it was a smaller organisation or private college? If so, probably for the best. You might have dodged a bullet on having a bad experience, they sound very disorganised. Use your motentum to find an enrolment elsewhere. You got this! Itโ€™s just a blip, donโ€™t let it get in the way of your goals.
