Oh no! Baku is awesome and I always enjoyed reading his posts. Have such big admiration for him, just a genuinely good person. Hope all is ok. Hope he will rejoin us one day.

Yes. The new way of doing things is to use AI to compose an email, then the recipient asks AI to read the AI created enail and summarise it, then tell AI to compose a reply.
Did a big stuff up today, am upset due to it. Have some critical things in the next couple of weeks that will be emotionally challenging. Why is stress hard. Wish I was tougher.

Iโve never staked zucchinis, the grow in a sprawling style. From memory I think the stalks might be a bit too fragile for forcing upright? Iโm no expert though, just whatโs worked for me.

I read Doppelgรคnger by Naomi Klein earlier this year. She proposes that conspiracy theorist right-wingers feelings that the system has failed them has some merit, but that theyโve completely misunderstood who that is. Itโs not vaccine scientists or diverse communities. Itโs social media magnates, exploitative capitalism and corrupt politics. I guess when youโre full of prejudice you have to do lots of mental gymnastics to make your world view fit your bigotry.

Itโs true that some people have an easier path. It starts right at birth, eg born to good family, no serious health issues, no disabilities, born into a safe neighbourhood, opportunities at a good school, etc. Or unlucky to get all the opposites. And then stuff happens in life, a lot of which we canโt control. The good and bad stuff is not evenly distributed. Some people get lots of good, some lots of bad, most of us get some of each. All you can do is make the best of the cards youโre dealt. Thatโs it. Itโs normal to be more cautious and pessimistic if youโve had a lot of bad stuff happen. The trick is to find ways to move forward, and say to yourself each day is a new day.
Iโve just eaten almost a whole bag of Doritos and as a consequence am no longer hungry enough to have motivation to cook dinner. Maybe a toasted sandwich will do for today, with some fruit after. Healthy eating starts again tomorrow.
