I’ll contribute You Really Got Me by The Kinks for some energy, and Easy by Faith no More for some chill.

This is very true, many times you can’t escape the toxic due to circumstances out of our control. Not in the short term anyhow. Like the ones you mentioned - neighbours, work etc. need to find ways to disengage and let it flow by to maintain your own sanity.
@[email protected] also saying hope you’re ok we miss you come back whenever you feel like it, this is a safe space to vent and discuss the world!
I often feel so ineffectual at life. Especially after I watch or read about successful people, and then I reflect that I’ve achieved absolutely nothing.
Feels like the whole of Melbourne has been transported to somewhere in FNQ.
Fridges were very bare at my local Woolies. Flashbacks to 2020.
Ugh had a terrible sleep, kept waking up through the night and then woke up early and couldn’t get back to sleep. Guess it’s a day of being a zombie today for me.
It’s nice seeing people’s Christmas trees. I myself don’t decorate because no kids and can’t be bothered. There are a couple of houses nearby that do lots of lights and I look forward to them putting their decorations up. So to all the decorators out there, thankyou for the Christmas spirit, sincerely from the non-decorators. We appreciate it.
Sounds like you are struggling. Yeah there’s some bad stuff out there but also lots of good. To live well we need to not fixate on things we can’t change. That’s a death spiral of frustration and anxiety and anger and overwhelm. Please reach out to people or services if you need to! For this forum, do you mean the SM age legislation? We don’t yet know exactly how it will work and I reckon with the speed that the government moves it could still be ages away until they figure out the tech required. And I’m sure some smart peoples will have some very easy solutions for how to stay anonymous anyways. I don’t think we are doomed, not right now anyway.
BTW I’m not entirely opposed to some controls on what kids can view in the internet, there is some nasty stuff out there that is really bad for the mental health of kids. I don’t know what the sensible compromise is though.
That’s the one
I love the Aldi ad with the gravy boat. Made me laugh.
Though I have never tried it myself, I believe the technique is to arch backwards and shuffle under the stick. If you touch it you’re out. Good luck.
