How many leaves to dispose of? A whole deciduous tree or just the old garden prunings? If it’s not many, a zero effort alternative is just scatter the leaves around the garden beds. They will dry or rot depending on the weather, act as mulch for a while, and then breakdown into the soil. Natures compost, just like in real environments. If you have foodstuffs you want to dispose of, that’s different and composting is the way to go.

The BOM radar rainband is in the exact same spot it was when I looked an hour ago. I would like it to quit stagnating and hurry up.

Those 2 nurses at the hospital. What horrid humans. Hope they get permanently barred and never allowed to work in healthcare again. And hopefully it’s just words and they haven’t actually harmed anyone. Hopefully.

I’ve been getting disappointed with quality of grapes at the supermarket the last few years. You can only get them in pre-packed bags, and they never seem really fresh. I really love a crisp crunchy grape! If you look at the colesworth ones, the stems are dry and limp indicating they have been off the vine for quite some time. I liked it better when you could just take a bunch or 2 from the pile, and there would be several varieties to choose from, not just nameless green or red. Maybe I’ll go to the market this weekend to see if I have better luck there.

PSA for anyone with pets, seems like a microchip database company has gone out of business. Doesn’t really say what you can do to check if it affects your pet, maybe check with your vet?

A Pina Colada and a novelty coffee mug with a sharp observational quip on it.

This is their expertise to decide and coordinate. Triple 0 operators will triage the situation and contact the appropriate services, they will know exactly what to do. You’re not expected to know what is needed when you call 000, just describe location and incident as best you can and they will do the rest.

Excellent, thankyou. Excuse to eat icecream! Although, a pint (500mL!!) a day, every single day sounds a bit extreme, would make me feel sick I think. And she always only has vanilla, I would get so bored. Perhaps she has an ocd/neurodivergent habit that she gains mental satisfaction from too? The podcast they mention sounds interesting, I’ll give it a listen.

That seagull looks like it’s plotting something.
