Have never seen before. Looks like pikelets stuck together with jam?

What do people call $2 shops these days? Seeing as that doesn’t really apply anymore. You know the ones I mean, they have gift wrap, plastic tubs, party goods, little ornaments, random stuff and there’s at least one in every suburb. The Bunnings of the people.

If they turn out to be elephant ear and you don’t want them, you can dig them up and sell them, I’ve seen them on marketplace.

You are a kind soul. Any luck finding a rescue organisation that could rehome them? The 11 could turn into 50 very quickly if the cats are not desexed. Cats can become pregnant very young.

So sorry that something bad happened. You can just say no to attending the event if you need to.

Stainless steel wool balls, the thicker coil type, is excellent for stuffing gaps around pipework to keep rodents out. They don’t like to chew on it. The trickery part is to make sure the rat is trapped out of the house, and not in, when steel wool is applied!

I’m the opposite. I put things off, especially unpleasant tasks, but severely overestimate what I can get done in a timeframe. (I don’t really believe it, I just like to convince myself I will do it later to feel less guilty about procrastinating). Then mad panic ensues. I need to find a way of doing unpleasant tasks.

But more importantly, congratulations on the car! And yay for having spare time to do other fun stuff!

Lots to unpack here for yourself. Don’t make any decisions until you’ve had a chance to breathe and mull over for a few days. It almost sounds like you got overwhelmed on the day, went into panic mode, felt like a failure and that the only solution was to quit immediately. Maybe teaching is your path and worth pursuing, or maybe it isn’t. The student behaviour issues are very real and lots of teachers struggle. But lots also feel it’s rewarding despite the challenges.Take some time, talk to people around you, see what you feel like after the adrenaline has settled. No one is perfect at something first time they do it.
