it's fine. it's nice there's more content here. although i hadn't been here too long before the influx. i'm just getting a little tired of all the "should we make bots to copy reddit" "what communites should we make" "hey lets not do all the in joke stuff they do on reddit". i've seen about a dozen variations of each of those posts so it's a little old.
So the swap conspiracy is yhat the Titanic had a twin sister ship, i think it was like yhe olimpia or something like that. The conspiracy, iirc, is that the sister ship wasnt made completely vto the same "unsinkable" standards as the Titanic. But, the titanic wasnt going to be completed in time so they changed the names and no one would he the wise. I think another part of yhis is yhat yhe twin ship was around for quite a while and i believe rammed a german uboat in ww1 and so people think that was really the unsinkable one. I could be wrong a bout a number of these points though. It's been a minute since I'm read about that conspiracy theory and im to lazy to fact checky self.

A pickle back! Pickle juice chaser with a shot of Jameson. i thought a pickle back was the most disgusting sounding thing until i tried it. it's a fantastic chaser for a shot of whiskey.
Unfortunately there isnt a whole lot that's geared specifically for that age range, and its star WARS so there's valeays going to be some sort of violence. But, there is a new animated series specifically for little kids called Young Jedi Adventures. I haven't watched it yet with my kiddo but its for 3-5 year i believe. I've heard resistance leans more kid friendly but haven't watched any of that either so not positive on that. I showed my 3 year old episode 1 and 2 and she did fine with both of them. Good luck!
Growing up, every new years eve the neighbors next door would throuh a part and the whole neighborhood was invited. I think was around 11 when a new family moved in across the street. at that years party one of dad in the neighbor hood was dancing wtih Mrs. new neighbor. they start getting closer. he fuckin dips her and kisses her. right there in front of me, 3 other kids (i think one of his own), his own wife, and Mr. new neighbor. all the grown ups fled the room and no one ever spoke of it again.
Yeah that sounds about right. I joined a few months ago and it was just to small to keep me interested. I think it popped up in a post about mastadon after Musk took a shot all over Twitter. Its been fun to see all the new communities pop up over there last fun days. It's like watching a newly planted garden pop up in spring. But with memes instead of snap peas.
Watched the new ant man and i honestly thought it was a lot better than the reviews gave it credit for. The cg was pretty bad though.
