Not to be a downer, but cops will pretend to know less than they do in order to lure their target into a false sense of security, make them think they've already won, that kind of thing. I'm pretty sure they already know who the guy is and they're waiting for him to become more convenient to capture. I would LOVE to be proven wrong and that the Bicycle Assassin is legit eluding the authorities.

My guess is that the supressor was homemade or not perfectly matched up to the gun. Judging from the footage the shooter was prepared for this but seems to have had a malfunction after the third shot.
Its kind of interesting that three spent cases and three unfired rounds were found at the scene so alternatively it may have been that every other trigger pull resulted in a light strike on the primer, which could also look like what was seen in the footage. This feels unlikely.
From The Guardian. If the caller and the shooter turn out to be the same person then her mentioning of "a lack of coverage" might suggest that this was done by someone UnitedHealthcare fucked over.

Largely automated blog showcasing geocities pages. I really only follow this one for the soothing regularity of the posts.
There is still lots of good stuff on tumblr but it's not the place to be if youre interested in growing a following or making a name for yourself. Its a uniquely organic experience compared to the likes of xitter and instagram and I would argue that the site has gotten a lot better as the rest of the internet got worse*. Just so you know, the "for you" feed is based off of likes, follows, and your tumblr browsing history. It can be nice for finding new blogs but it if you go look at the blog of someone who leaves a shitty comment, you will start getting posts similar to what that person has on their blog.
*the 2017 porn ban was a disaster for online sex workers as tumblr was a remarkably safe platform for them. Also the moderators really like to ban transfeminine users for basically nothing. Other than that tumblr is pretty fuckin great!
I so first off I am thankful for my amazing friends (yes you, you know who you are), my sweet little kitty, and this community that has been a source of levity and insight.
Yeah so this is my first time coming "back home" to my parents house for thanksgiving and I really kinda miss living in town so I could escape at the end of the night. My family isn't like, evil or anything but they make me feel bad to be me most of the time so its been pretty unpleasant actually. Politics didn't come up until much later in the evening and no interesting takes were said but it was still upsetting. I got to bring my kitty because shes family too now and shes made everything so much easier, everyone loves her! Can't wait to go home tomorrow, I don't want to be in this house anymore.

My buddy got me into PlanetSide 2 and that's been a lot of fun! Really cool to play a game I got hyped for over a decade ago and totally forgot about until just now. I have also been playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat with the GUNSLINGER mod installed and the relatively small tweaks it makes to gunplay and survival make the game feel a lot more fresh.
One of the narratives in GamerGate tried to explain this with the belief that the institutions that promote video games do so selectively in order to put inclusive, mediocre titles over those that are less progressive. The belief being that there is an anti-white, anti-straight fifth coloum that works to astroturf the sucess of these games at the expense of white men.
