Yeah I don't think people who spend money on skins in games are people who use lemmy and hence by extension sync for lemmy

Well games receive patch fixes and even content updates after release and most of them are pushed through to the people who purchased the game at no extra costs. Yes dlc's do require you to purchase them but updates that fix bugs and improve performance resulting in an improved experience are usually free of cost
Well it is cheap for people living in developed countries but in developing countries where the exchange rate vs the dollar is high and the average income is lower, the cost of the subscription is substantial. Yes we should support the developer but unfortunately this subscription model is unfeasible for some people.
I don't know. Going by that logic, there should not be any ads in the beta as well as the app is not officially finished. That way people can use and try the app until the official launch and then buy it when the one time ad free purchase options are added without being exposed to our tracked by ads.

The point is that the official arch repositories have most of the software one might need. Using AUR only for software which I can't find in the official repos has meant that I have very few packages installed from the AUR and none of them have caused stability issues with my system as these packages are actively maintained
So I have a question. Since the last backup using which the server was on the 26th, there are several posts and comments missing. But since most of these comments and posts originate from other instances and are still there, why can't lemmy.one pull these comments/posts from the instances¿?

This is bullshit. What if I have to go a different country for a work trip. Should I be forced to not watch the race that weekend even though I have a F1TV pro subscription in the country where I reside for the majority of the year¿?
Also while blue flags were being shown, Lando was still pretty far away from yuki. He did not even have drs on yuki when the blue flags were out. For large parts of the lap, it seemed that Lando was not getting any closer to yuki and I can understand yuki not wanting to slow down and move aside for a car that is more than a second behind him
