There is no contradiction since reactionaries don't believe in equality. The law is a tool to be weaponized against my enemies and not our caste is perfectly consistent in conservative political philosophy.

The rhetoric is used to pay lip service to their fealty to liberty, equality, and fraternity so liberals aren't forced to take concrete counteraction.

Found something on reddit about an EU human rights report leak on Israel.

I saw a clip of some DBZ movie showing an in-movie short of Trunks killing Frieza in 4s on Youtube today. Went on like 20 minutes of watching Future Trunks content on Youtube afterward.

I really liked Future Trunks and his character. No testing your limits, no humiliating the opponent, nor indecisiveness. No fighting for sport, pride of being a warrior, or playing reluctant hero. Just a soldier trying to protect the world.

"The nightmare is over, Cell. Die!" Just a pure speedrun of the Android & Cell saga. The Future Trunks timeline was of the same flavor as those dystopian movies like Terminator was from the 80s/90s media, but I really like the way Trunks stuck out as unique despite his limited screentime.

"Nightmares never last mom, one day you wake up and they're gone" - Trunks, Akira Toriyama.

A year ago criticism of the occupation and genocide was political blasphemy but the protests and activism has started trends in these states to lay the groundwork to "always have been against this". These states aren't real democracies; they are class dictatorships violently repressing , covertly and overtly, the dissent of their own citizenry.

The truth of the matter is that these states are losing the facade of human rights, democracy, and freedom to favor Israel. These are the expositions of the obsolescence of liberal democracy to respond to the demands of the people in an immediate sense; only delegates can act within the boundaries of the state and the people have no access to the levers of power except for voting for delegates - pre-compromised by their own interests and influences - who make decisions on behalf of their constituencies with nothing to compel them but a whim.

The state has expended its tools in suppressing these dissidents. The dissidents delegitimize the state through the persistence of protesting, activism, and engaging in direct action to express discontent and publicly decry the illegitimate action by the state.

If this leaves Gaza near emptied then this is an admission that Israel murdered 1m+ people.

Last thread there was a question of what gives people hope. I will give my answer here:

Religion. I'm an atheist, but the concept that God is there watching and among the oppressed and suffering is one that moves me greatly. The concept in Christianity that God will suffer and does suffer with the oppressed, destitute, the slaves, and outcasts of society is one where we see hope beyond hope, and salvation beyond annihilation.

BREAKING: The Trump administration is working on a plan to permanently relocate up to 1 million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Libya, according to a report by NBC News, citing five sources with knowledge of the effort, including two people they said with direct knowledge, and a former U.S. official.

It's bizarre, like Jimmy Carr's stand-up but in podcast form.

If anyone wants to be reminded of the case against Israel in the ICJ.

I suspect that Netanyahu is prolonging the war to occupy all of Gaza to facilitate the cover up of the corpses and maimed bodies. The bulldozers also crush bone and decayed flesh into sludge; the bodies are erased - they are unidentifiable and near unquantifiable - not unlike cremation.

I think Trump's Freudian slip of the numbers left in Gaza was likely close to the truth; as he said in his plans to relocate 1.5m people. That the truth is there are 1.5m people left in Gaza.

I think the ICJ/ICC are waiting for the war to end, but more than likely the individuals in charge of these institutions are being blackmailed, bribed, and threatened by the US, Israel, and other Western accomplices.
