Leider habe ich keinen Artikel auf Deutsch mit einer vernünftigen Überschrift gefunden. Für die Überschrift sind die Palästinenser mal wieder irgendwie tot. Der Täter wird erst im Text benannt.

Damit steigt die Zahl der von Israel nahe den "Hilfszentren" getöteten Palästinenser auf über 300, nachdem Israel auch in den vergangenen Tagen täglich Massaker an Hilfssuchenden verübt hat, im Schutz der Ablenkung durch den israelischen Großangriff auf Iran.

Annotation des "extrem" von mir. Eine Auswahl an Textstellen, wobei ich das Lesen des gesamten Textes empfehle:

Auf der Plattform X postet Makatov unter dem Namen „Morgenthau“ – dort kommentiert er etwa den Vorschlag des Antisemitismusbeauftragten, in Deutschland solle ein Ableger des israelischen Holocaust-Museums Yad Vashem entstehen, mit den Worten: „(Felix) Klein fordert noch mehr Erinnerungsindustrie“, und verwendet auch den Begriff „Schuldkult“.

Der anonyme Text benennt die „Jewish debate group (uncensored)“, aus der Betar hervorgegangen sei. Dort seien Nachrichten geschrieben worden wie: „Alice Weidel und Krah sehen die Juden als hochwertige Menschen. Für mich reicht es, um die AfD zu wählen“, oder: „Ich kann diese Beärbock (sic!) nicht mehr ertragen, eine furchtbare weißfotzige Weibe, die muslimische Schwänzen (sic!) lutscht.“

Makatov zufolge ist die „debate group“ lediglich eine von vielen Whatsapp-Gruppen, aus denen man „rekrutiert“ habe. Das Zitat über die frühere Außenministerin Annalena Baerbock sei von einer Person getätigt worden, die mit Betar nichts zu tun habe.

Laut Makatov hätten „extremistische Anschauungen“ keinen Platz bei Betar. Was extremistisch ist, wolle man aber selbst bewerten. So sei etwa Artur Abramovych bei Betar aktiv, der Vorsitzende der „Juden in der AfD“ – ein Verein, der von Kritikern als Feigenblatt bewertet wird, um Antisemitismus in der Partei zu verdecken. Makatov nennt Abramovych einen „alten Liberal-Konservativen“, der in die AfD eingetreten sei, als sie noch eine eurokritische Partei gewesen sei.

Die AfD wiederum sieht Makatov einer übertriebenen „Hexenjagd“ ausgesetzt. Es gebe in Deutschland keine nicht-antisemitische Partei, und die AfD sei nicht vorne dabei. „Der linke Antisemitismus und der aus linker Ideologie resultierende migrantische Antisemitismus ist derzeit die größere Gefahr für Juden in Deutschland“, sagt er.

Dazu teilt @ashkenaszi ein martialisches Zitat des Autors und Paramilitärs Avraham Stern.

Stern gründete 1940 die Lechi, eine militante Organisation in Palästina, die im 2. Weltkrieg einen Burgfrieden mit den Briten ablehnte. Bevor die industrielle Judenvernichtung bekannt wurde, bemühten sich Mitglieder der Lechi gar um eine Allianz mit Hitler-Deutschland, stritten für die Errichtung eines jüdischen Staates auf der Grundlage nationalistischer und totalitärer Prinzipien.

Eine wichtige Rolle spielt auch Betar-Gründer Jabotinsky, jener Vater des revisionistischen Zionismus, der von einem Großisrael träumte. Seine Betar arbeitete in den 1930ern und 1940ern in Palästina eng mit der paramilitärischen Irgun zusammen, die notorisch für Terroranschläge auf palästinensische Zivilisten war.

„Der Kahanismus wollte Juden auch gegen andere Minderheiten verteidigen“, sagt Flaschenberg der taz. Bei Betar gebe es eine Mischung aus zionistischem Nationalismus, aggressiver Männlichkeit, Alt-Right-Motiven aus den USA und sogar „einigen sehr düsteren völkisch-deutschen Elementen“.

Ähnliches gilt für die Frage, wer Teil eines Volkes ist. „Das ist kein Konsens bei Betar, aber viele Leute meinen: Ja, ich habe den deutschen Pass, aber ich bin ethnisch kein Deutscher“, sagt Makatov. „Das ist der ethno-kulturelle Volksbegriff“.

Diese Idee von Volkszugehörigkeit wird aktuell mit Bezug auf die AfD diskutiert. So begründet der Verfassungsschutz seine Einstufung der AfD als „gesichert rechtsextremistisch“ zentral damit, dass die Partei ein „ethnisch-abstammungsmäßiges Volksverständnis“ vertrete, das mit der Verfassung nicht vereinbar sei. Makatov aber meint, Israel mache es ja genauso. „Die sagen: Auch wenn du den deutschen Pass hast, bist du Jude und kannst zu uns auswandern und Israeli werden. Die benutzen ja auch den ethno-kulturellen Volksbegriff.“

Turki al-Jasser, a prominent Saudi journalist who highlighted corruption, women’s rights and the Palestinian cause in his writing, was executed in Saudi Arabia on Saturday after the kingdom’s top court upheld his death sentence, the Saudi Interior Ministry announced on X.

Saudi authorities raided Jasser’s home in March 2018, seizing his electronic devices and arresting him. He was later convicted of terrorism and treason.

But campaigners have long held that he was imprisoned because authorities believed he was running a Twitter account which reported on corruption and human rights violations by those in power, including the Saudi royal family.

Al-Jasser's supporters and advocates said his execution, committed while world attention was on Israel’s attacks on Iran, demonstrated once again that criticism of the authorities in Saudi Arabia would not be tolerated.

They also drew parallels between Jasser’s execution and the 2018 murder of Jamal Khashoggi, another prominent Saudi journalist, who was dismembered by a Saudi murder squad in the kingdom’s embassy in Istanbul.

Four others did and are allowed to exhibit. The official did not elaborate on what kind of equipment was not allowed, or why.

The president and CEO of Israeli company IAI, Boaz Levy, said it has exhibited at the Paris Air Show for decades and had received authorizations to display its equipment.

‘’Last night, after our booth was set up and ready for the show, we were asked to remove some of our systems from the booth. We tried to negotiate with them, but it seems these orders came from the highest levels in Paris,’' he said in a statement. ‘’This morning, when we arrived at our booth, we were shocked to find out that we were blocked by black walls built overnight.’'
