Well for background I've been sober for around 20 years. Back then I took a look at my life and simply did not like what I saw. Maybe I started to love myself back then....

In hindsight I started drinking at an age where I started to address childhood trauma and it was a mechanism to numb the pain. But I kept drinking because it actually helped tamp down on the symptoms of my very strange food allergy.

What I did not know back then there are different parts of your body that can be the reason for allergic reactions - and there are 'lesser' allergies that are believed to be cured by not eating the food for a year. And these lesser allergies are sometimes/often not tested by doctors (talking about IgE/gg).

After finally finding out, the thirst went away. Completely. I'm not saying your thirst is like mine, but if you are still searching maybe this is a direction you haven't thought of.

You are wonderful for choosing to journey through life sober and with eyes wide open. I admire you.

Das runners high setzt vorraus, dass Dein Körper genug produziert. Hast Du als Kind viel Cortison bekommen? Lass mal deine Nebennierenrinde checken. Produzierst Du genug Dopa? Lass Dich auf frühanzeichen von Parkinson checken.

Es kann auch einfach Deine Einstellung zum Leben sein, also muss nix medizinisches sein 🫠. Aber mal mit dem Hausarzt zu reden ist echt sinnvoll so wie Du klingst, grad wenn Du in dem Alter bist wo Du Kinder hast. Der Scheiß kommt schneller als Du denkst (Quelle: der scheiß kam schneller als ich dachte). Außerdem bei den Wartelisten - biste wenn Du endlich nen Termin bekommst biste dann auch in dem Alter wo das alles von der Kasse übernommen wird 😃.

Was bei mir der Game changer war: regenhose zum drüberziehen mit Latz (hilft auch gut gegen kalten Wind und hält die Nieren warm, auch im Herbst und Frühling) und ein Helm mit Winter-kit (hauptsächlich Ohrenwärmer)

The ability of Nazis to cosplay as "normal" conservatives never ceases to amaze me. The utter lack of empathy. The pure joy in making "the others" suffer. Nothing seems to alert conservatives. Even when they position themselves as "just revanchists" they are believed. Breathtaking.
