At least you're very unlikely to be allergic to horse.
The health risk is more important than the ethics failure.

More like 'anything but Tory' to be honest; it's hard to be worse than The Last Tory Government™, but somehow they keep managing it.
Presumably worth reaching out to the instance admin if a mod is squatting on a community name on that instance.
Might even be worth just messaging that mod too - they might have taken a 'build it and they will come' stance and would welcome another hand to mod and post.
A cool post pops up in your feed. You click it. You are met with an overlay that says "Sorry, this post isn't compatible with your browser. Please log in to Threads."
Over half your feed are Threads posts.
Speculative example.
Please could you provide a better summary then? I must have missed the point, because I'm genuinely not understanding how the fediverse is EEE-resistant.
Right? It seems like that little ? is meant to provide a tooltip but it didn't show anything for me on mobile or desktop.
The Mastodon Dev says it's not a concern because of brand recognition.
That's not a defense mechanism lol.
Yeah, I'd like to see an actual explanation of why the Fediverse is insulated from EEE aside from 'Mastodon brand recognition'.
I... didn't know there was another way to say it. Am I a knob-end?
Aha! I have found the problem. I just tried it on desktop and the issue is a capital letter in the community name. The warning shows up on desktop, but not on mobile.
Oh hey look, it's Warwick castle. You can paddle along that bit of the river in boats from St James' park and get an almost identical view (just not with the elevation). Think this might have been taken from the bridge?
If you go there, you absolutely have to get the fruit scones from Thomas Oken Tea Rooms. They're bigger than your fist and absolutely divine.
Would also recommend Dough & Brew's pizza if you're in the area.
