I love that Middle Rd merging part. /s

Hope old mate wasn't too much of a wanker for you to deal with. Should be an easy insurance win either way.

Everything has been pretty much harvested. Corn failed to grow, looked like they were getting munched on by grasshoppers. Carrots came out nicely. Even after cooking them, they have an almost sweet earthy taste to them. Very different from store bought ones. Capsicums plants are still tiny, so not sure how they will end up. Just gonna let them be and see what comes of them.

One of my mandarin fruit trees has heaps of ready to eat fruit now. Just plucking one off every day to eat.

Probably gonna leave the garden over winter, and get back to planting come spring. Family have requested watermelons again, so that will be the next crop.

Read somewhere that the QLD and WA governments are the only ones offering the free Flu shots, but I haven't fact checked/read anymore into it.

Company I work for offers refunds for anyone who has receipt of a Flu shot which is nice. Haven't needed to get the cash back from them for a couple years now though. Always nice when an employer offers an incentive with getting vaccinated.

This video was in recommended feed on YouTube and I ignored based on the title, not realising is was satire. Just watched it now because of you posting here, thanks.

Hear, hear. Mowed the lawns yesterday and didn't even break a sweat. Fantastic!

Work health and saftey might think of things differently today, compared to the good ole days ๐Ÿ˜…

Do you still have that cranky teacher from yesterday?

Hate Mondays. Two machines not working first up, and Friday night shift didn't set up for us to be ready to go this morning.

Smoko time now, time to de-stress.

The Coalition party probably.

  • Labor will establish 12 publicly-owned fuel stations if re-elected in October, with the sites to be determined by where competition is most needed across the state.
  • In his state of the state address on Tuesday, Mr Miles will also announce Labor's plan to ban petrol stations from raising the price of fuel more than once a day and a trial to cap price increases to 5 cents a litre a day.
  • Australasian Convenience and Petroleum Marketers Association chief executive Mark McKenzie told ABC Radio Brisbane it was unclear if Labor had the ability to implement the plan.

I was quoted around $15,500-$16,000 for a 12.8 to 13.5 kWh battery plus install for comparison.

  • In short: Two Russian-born Australians have been charged with spying offences, the first time the new laws have been used.

  • The couple allegedly conspired to send sensitive Australian Defence Force material to Russian authorities.

  • What's next? Police say further spying charges could be laid as Operation BURGAZADA continues.

That's extremely devastating.

I thought is was a bit chilly this morning, had to get the beanie out to keep my ears warm

Hello there. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a Linux distro for grandparents? They are over 70 years old, with an old HP desktop and laptop running Windows 10. All they need is a Web browser, so no need for special software or wine to run Windows programs. Would preferably like something that is low maintenance so I don't have to be constant tech support for them (apart from the initial install and setup). Thanks for any suggestions.
