I wonder if this is one of the cases of someone buying/taking an account from another user and not deleting the old tweets? I don't think a Khamenei PR account would've been tweeting about random stuff in English in 2013.

I forgot how funny some of that broadcast is. "Go back to America to drink milkshakes and eat hamburgers! You're a cuck!"

Not Alex Jones specifically but definitely that brand of conservative "intellectual"

The US is self sufficient but it's also part of a global capitalist economy. If China is suddenly more interested in buying US oil, the price goes up for everyone. Biden might have loved Israel enough to double gas prices on a whim but I don't know if Trump does.

I had to see what their source was on him calling Jews "inbred" and it links to the fucking Destiny wiki HAHAHAHAHAHA

As far as I can tell, the only people he's calling inbred are settlers, IDF, and Israeli Orthodox Jews. That last one is a little dodgy but also probably true, if they're anything like other hyper-conservative religions

I would not be super surprised if the US drops a couple bunker busters and turns around to leave. If Iran calls that bluff and doesn't retaliate, the situation is basically the same as it was before, except there's a pointless crater above the nuclear facility and Trump's ego is assuaged.

A larger conflict requires the US to prefer supporting Israel even at the cost of a catastrophic spike in oil prices. I guess they must be aware that Israel probably doesn't win this long term, but long term thinking has not been a strength of the US lately. It's kinda hard to make predictions when one side of the conflict is America and Israel.

“We do not provide bulk information to any government,” the spokesperson said. “For over a decade, Meta has provided consistent transparency reports that include the limited circumstances when WhatsApp information has been requested.”

So in other words, you DO provide specific information on individuals in "limited circumstances"

American media doesn't usually bother me anymore because it's so predictably cruel but this really gets the blood boiling

Iran is not going to strike first unless they believe there is absolutely no chance of stopping a war with the US diplomatically. It looks very likely right now, but that jump from very likely to certain will mean a lot of suffering for the Iranian people. I do not envy the people who have to make that call right now.

Doubt they have a nuke at this moment.

I think the nugget of truth in the "Iran will have a nuke within x years" is that Iran probably has been able to develop a nuclear bomb for some time and has chosen not to because of the fatwa and for political reasons. Negotiating with the US is a bad idea, but that's easier to say on Hexbear than it is when you're running a country that could be severely harmed by the great Satan.

Assuming Iran's government is not totally toppled in the upcoming war, I would expect them to begin pursuing it immediately if they haven't already.

I saw an unverified post earlier claiming that Huckabee and Netanyahu got into a shouting match over the ability of Americans to leave Israel, with the idea being that Israel wanted to increase the chance of American deaths and force their involvement.
