It fucking pisses me off whenever someone says "Des Moines, Iowa".
What kind of dumb idiot living the USA doesn't know that Des Moines is in Iowa. Half of the goddamn political news cycles is about Iowa. Nobody over 14 in the US doesn't know where Des Moines is.
I've started listening to Slipknot and I just kind of assumed they were from that part of the US. To my non-surprise they are from Des Moines and are of the type of Iowan who says "Des Moines, Iowa". Of fucking course they are.

If you actually cared to compete with China you would join the technology arms race by investing heavily into it instead of banning superior competitors.
