I don't know about op, but this is the exact kind of thing I'd buy from a thrift store

Can we start calling them Adobe Lovers?

Awesome thanks for the info on that.

I've had the opposite happen since switching to Windows 11. Multiple BSODs a week on both machines. Super frustrating.

Nothing wrong with examining potential issues for emerging technology before they become actual issues.

I don't really like associating these people with the concepts presented in the Bible. Their understanding of Jesus, to me, feels about on par with a Republican political candidate's understanding of Rage Against The Machine.

That or he's slowing down mentally and it just took more time for him to get there.

Even with all of the examples here and that I've seen around, it's still something I know I don't fully grasp. I'm also confident this is the same kind of limitation that flat earthers use when they say "Well I can't comprehend the Earth being a sphere, it just looks flat to me."

Never thought I'd miss Ballmer, but here we are.

I remember back when I was in school and staring at my hands seemed infinitely more important than homework. Also watching shadows change as the sun moved across the sky.

Thinking about really makes me appreciate Adderall.

I'm getting daily or near daily BSODs since switch back from Debian. I was okay with Vista and 8, and maybe I'm just getting crankier as I get older, but I definitely am not a fan of the current direction Windows is taking.

Dreamweaver is still used? I used it a bit back in the day when Macromedia was around and shortly after Adobe got a hold of it. How does it work with the modern web? Does it work well with modern programming languages or is it still just a WYSIWYG HTML editor?

A good friend of mine is falling down the Xitter to Red Hat pipeline and it has me thinking about how to get better at remembering sources of information or, hell, just remember certain topics long enough to research them thoroughly enough to be able to speak at least somewhat eloquently about the topic.

Fairly confident the friend is going to follow the path he's going to follow, so I'm not looking for advice on that.

Looking SpaceFox's question for people who have been in special ed, it seems pretty like its a pretty negative experience. So, I'd like to know what Lemmy users have seen work well for people who need extra help in school? What haven't you seen but think would be helpful?

I've found myself with way more red lentils than expected and, as much as I like it, a man can only have Dal so many times. Any other suggestions for what I can do with Lentils?

As I'm sure most of you know, searching for tips on how to manage symptoms, what can effect medications, or just general information about ADHD there is a lot of advice for parents or information written about ADHD children. I'm tired of looking at information that sounds like ADHD is a thing you age out of, hell I thought we got past that point a long time ago. You fine folks have any sources for ADHD info that don't assume you're the parent of a bratty 6 year old?

I've been reading through the rulebook and this game seems like it would mesh well with having a largeish base of players doing a number of one-shot or low session count mini-campains that are contained within a large community. Does anyone know of any communities for this that already exist? If not would anyone have an interest in starting one?
