I suspect people (not billionaires) are realising that they can get by with less. And that the planet needs that too. And that working 40+ hours a week isn't giving people what they really want either.

There's also the value of money has never been lower either. Working for less isn't rewarding. And so demand is getting intensely squeezed, and this is likely to continue with a planet that is full of enough stuff

Not. Haven't seen the appeal over native package managers

Yeah, I remarked that this isn't back to the beginning so much as the beginning of the end for basically all on that bill. Lots of hair pieces I suspect

Great to see this recovered, and what a tragedy to read about. Hopefully it does a little tour with all the photos mentioned

Yeah, we're very much B team territory. And the MAB were C if that. Good to see Scotland lay down a gauntlet all the same, I'd love to see Scotland get a proper crack at the All Blacks again - it's never that often!

England love a drop, scoreline suggests it was a but one sided however

Only live streaming in the hoose. But hud mates round, and a blast! Ozzy putting on a great show with all the numerous 'support' and himself putting in a grade A effort for having parkinsons

Halestorm did kick ass early doors. Tool another highlight for me. The revolving stage great to see also. And Slayer out for another gig!

So many great moments, hard to disagree with the greatest bill ever tag

£25 plus taxes and service fees. Had a blast though, I have deemed it worthy with mates round too. Will be on a certain site tomorrow I'm sure

Gojira vocals were shockingly bad though. Covers have been fab. Lamb of God's my highlight

Axl finished on a high, but missed the memo about hits and classics obviously

Livestream looks fantastic indeed. Great crowd

Anyone else watching the live stream? Anyone lucky enough to be there?

Schoooo! A great read from Tom English here. Hoping he makes at least the bench for a test

Howdy folks, how's it gawin oot there the nicht? Who's got weekend plans? Who's aff sunnin themsels?

U20s on Friday. Plenty of action from half 2 to half 9 for your Friday plans. Tomorrow it starts very early doors UK time, so enjoy that feast easterners! Then there's a last Sunday match too, where Austrailia enjoy some pre-lions warmup with Fiji

Here's a good read, landward has done plenty on lack of fish in our rivers in recent years too

Also, not one mention of salmon farming in here. Trees are undoubtedly part of the answer, but to not mention salmon farming seems willfully negligence from the guardian

No story from STV, or the BBC on this poll. So here's Bella. Tories switching almost wholesale to Reform is a sad sight. Have they no self respect?

Another minority SNP government looking likely next year in essence. Greens continuing to grow. Reform looking very likely to take their first Scottish elected seats, which is scary imo. Though like Mike Small here I don't expect the scale predicted here. Alba have to face facts, Swinney has side-stepped them and brought back those who disliked Sturgeon. There time is nearly up. Labour continuing to flounder and almighty fuck up. Only one route to their Holyrood re-election imo. Separate from UK Labour and stand neutral on Independence. Tories are fucked. Good. But the new Tories aren't going to be any better, we may well be better the devil we know with the current useless tosspots

Well done to whatever tech workers managed to restore these in about 2 weeks. M&S didn't manage it in 2 months! Of course, what we aren't seeing is the incident analysis and attack vectors employed. You can bet your house that this will be a human failure somewhere due to lack of investment in some crticial area. Mostly gone are the zero days exploits of old

Alright, which of ye's is sending pish tae the GP? An ah dinnae mean talkin pish!

I feel for Wales fans. Just 1 left and we're still 2 weeks out from the first test. Japan host Wales this weekend also, fingers crossed for Wales to give Eddie Jones a hiding

Realised this morning I haven't covered a Cliff era track! And so we have the master himself live from back in 1985. And the performance itself is a masterclass in bass improve intro with judicious use of fuzz and chorus to create a sound that few 40 years ago could even imagine.

The track is from Ride the Lightning, Metallica's second LP but first from what is considered their stable lineup. And I'll gush about Ride with some other track later. What's more relevant is that this track features in Cliff em All, a compilation of bootlegs videos of the bass wizard in action released after his passing. With Cliff being just 3.5 years with the band, his influence has been phenomenal to not just Metallica, but all of rock and metal. So watch him go, he has the crowd in a frenzy even before the main riff kicks in, and he plays with the intro like a cat with a string, effortlessly and without mercy.

Anyone lucky enough to have seen Cliff play? Anyone remember seeing this video on Kerrang/MTV2 like me?

A shame in some ways to see these come down. Many a story will have come from the 60+ years they were up. But highrises are also a source of far to many of societies ills and were used by councils to house the undesirables instead. Great to see them come down!
