Teach my kids to swim, float on my back, practice holding my breath, do underwater laps, finally do that Slavic dance where you alternate balancing in you heels with kicks without tipping over...

Donate it. I'm sure there's someplace that will want it as a wifi-cabable minitablet for kids to access the Internet on.

I regret googling that acronym. Stay away from that stuff, cousin, it's toxic.

The family PC when I was ten was a Commodore64.

I read the question. OP seems to be asking where to get the best burger. Presumably, they are asking about chains because they want something available nationwide. But, as stated:

  • Most chains aren't nationwide.

  • Most chains aren't the best place to get burgers.

Now, I'm all for narrow-minded pedantry, and there's a time for answering a poorly-phrased question literally; but I was actually trying to be helpful, here, by reading critically and giving OP a useful answer to the question: "When visiting the US, where should I go for the best cheeseburger?"

CDs were too expensive for my ten-year-old self, and my parents didn't trust me with their vinyls yet.

I had a Taj Mahal tape, a Raffi tape, and a Doris Hall tape.
