Sure, but not all the people who voted for trump were Republicans and it is too simplistic to say that they all voted for him because of hate towards minority groups. I'm not saying that no one voted for him because they hate x-group. Just that most people most likely voted for him because they thought he would fix the economy.

I don't think most people who voted for him expected that he was gonna go completely apeshit like he has. I sure didn't think he was gonna be this insane. And no I didn't vote for him and no I'm not American and no I can't just mind my own business because American politics is literally shoved down everybody's throat all over the world.

But I will say that acting like it was all about bigotry for every single person who voted for him is too simplistic a take, like many other people in this thread have also said.

Last I checked, most people who voted for trump voted for him because they actually thought he would fix the economy. Only a fringe cares about identity politics.

While I personally believe people who voted for trump were naive at best, it is very disingenuous to pretend like they all voted for him because they hate trans people. Most normal people don't give a fuck about that shit. They just want to live and considering how chaotic the election was for the democrats, it makes sense that more people put their trust in the candidate who was there from the start.

It's a very boring answer, and it is not really an excuse for the current state of the US, but reality is often a lot duller than whatever narrative we like to cook up in our little heads after spending too much time on Twitter.

Folkeskolen er blevet bagbundet og maltrakteret af den ene reform efter den anden. Gamle rutinerede undervisere går ned med stress. Nyere lærere går også ned med stress.

Jeg ved faktisk ikke hvor jeg skal starte hvis jeg skal forsøge at forklare bare lidt af det som politikerne har ødelagt i den danske folkeskole gennem årene. Det er bare ikke den samme skole som vi gik i da vi var børn. Alt er sparet væk og strammet op og overvåget af idioter (politikere) der ikke ved hvad de laver fordi folkeskolen ikke er deres ekspertise. Det er lidt som at lade en leder af en dagligbrugskæde bestemme over hvad en dyrlæge må og ikke må i operationsrummet mens han render rundt og stikker pølserne i alt det sterile grej efter at have været på tpilet uden af vaske hænder. Så undrer han sig bagefter over hvorfor fidos operation gik så ringe og den skal hasteindlægges igen pga sepsis. Han er jo så god til at drive sin kæde så hvorfor går det så, så dårligt med dyrlægen? Måske er dyrlægen bare ikke dygtig nok. Lad os lave nogle nye regler i klinikken så dyrlægen ikke giver en anden hund sepsis. Fra nu af skal alle dyrlæger kun operere med én hånd. Problem solved.

Og politikerne er jo ligeglade med hvad lærerne og psykologerne og forskerne kommer med af advarsler. Indtil nu hvor de er begyndt at se konsekvenserne af deres idiotiske handlinger gennem årene. Tak til Fogh som satte gang i alt dette og satte kursen for at smadre den danske velfærdsstat.

Men er da sikker på at LA og lignende er lykkelige over nyheder som denne. De vil jo elske et land der minder om USA hvor de rigeste kan få adgang til god velfærd og resten kan rende og hoppe.
