Have little time? Always on the go? Need a refresher of recent Steam Deck news? Got you covered here, come get your little fix.

A project I have a very keen eye on is NVK, the open source NVIDIA Vulkan driver developed by the community (not NVIDIA), and it seems like progress on it is going rather well.

For the past year and a half Red Hat engineers have been developing a new web-based UI for their Anaconda OS installer and with the Fedora Workstation 39 release later this year they are looking at possibly switching to it by default.

Upsetting many in the open-source community was Red Hat's announcement last week that they would begin limiting access to the Red Hat Enterprise Linux sources by putting them behind the Red Hat Customer Portal and publicly would be limited to the CentOS Stream sources

The 9to5Linux Weekly Roundup for June 25th, 2023, brings news about Linux 6.4, Linux Mint 21.2 beta, Nitrux Update Tool, and more.

Beginning today, you can earn the Barbarian Azurehand Skull-Crusher and Matriarch’s Mantle Back Trophy by watching up to six hours of Diablo 4 content on Twitch!

Blizzard recently announced that they will be enabling DirectStorage for Diablo 4 in the future.
Will gaming on Wine support this feature as new games start to enable it?

As far as I understand there are two benefits DirectStorage has, one is making load times faster while using less CPU resources and another one allows the GPU to almost entirely bypass the CPU and use the storage directly. Hopefully the first feature would be easier to implement because it doesn't need the GPU drivers.
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty and Starfield are two upcoming games that require SSD to play, presumably because of DirectStorage, curious to see what will the performance be like on Linux using Wine

The Elder Scrolls 6 is unlikely to release for at least "five-plus" years. That's according to Xbox boss Phil Spencer, …

I used this guide for Diablo 4 recently. Had a small issue where I had to start steam from desktop mode once and maximize battle.net. After that, there were no issues starting it from the gaming mode.
