I think I need to quit my job. I started recently and just got tons of tasks assigned to me and I, familiar with hazing rituals, smiled and said more please. My boss definitely noticed i'm not keeping up and asked me to log my time and send out status updates which is just more things to do.

I don't spend much money and have savings so I can be ok probably. I don't know if my coworkers have that same priviledge and I feel like they are overworked too. I just met all these people recently and I can't help but feel like i'm abandoning them. I also wonder how friends and family will think about it. Everyone I talk to seems to feel the same way - each job having its own unique spin on its method of psychological torture. Deciding to take a break from the capitalist death cult gives me such a weird sense of guilt

There were so so so so many red flags that I just ignored because I wanted out of my last job so badly and what did I get out it? Just more burnt out. I don't really know what to do next. Probably write out a script, zoom call my boss, and say i'm leaving.
