Such a weird take. A new hope starts out with an entire planet getting destroyed and Luke's aunt and uncle being turned to BBQ. I know it's not given the actual emotional weight that it would have in reality, but it's not like everything was roses.
Meh
If I can't crash my system by filling a room with a mountain of watermelons, I'm not interested
You have my vote
I guess it's nice to have ready made universes within versions for printing proxies, but I suppose it depends on how effective they are at fitting the setting and feel of mtg. Spiderman with the serial numbers filed off would be an additional slap in the face for people who like the mechanical function of a card but don't like capeshit
Just ate a bug
Could you imagine a world where the rich just outright state the cruelties they will inflict on us? How ridiculous
Yeah, the Luddites were objectively correct in their predictions. Just like the tankies.
Or just buy a secondhand iPod, pop a new battery in it, and replace the hard drive with a micro sd adapter. Cheap, revitalizes old tech, and pushes certain nostalgia buttons for those of the right age
Calvin's whole thing is the concept of total depravity. That is, after the fall, humanity's nature was unchangeably corrupt and an individual was predestined for salvation or damnation because they had no ability to make choices that would alter that fate. So followers of Calvin believed they were the elect who were innately good and destined for paradise and you can see where this would lead. Those who suffer do so because they deserve suffering and although the elect may be good, they are similarly unable to save others and so there is no point in trying to alleviate that suffering. Real freak shit
I really want this guy to go into the family business of being dead
Not much, how about you?
Didn't I hear a while back that towing one of these things basically fucks the whole vehicle? What a shame that would be....
