Killing droids mercilessly seems almost slightly more sane except they're made more personable as well with quips about their condition. In canon though, droids are nearly or are sentient, from what I gather so I imagine it is just as bad to kill them wantonly.
Yeah, I think it being animated throws people off, me included. Ahsoka kinda becoming Star Wars Rebels: Live Action is pretty cool though (I haven't watched Rebels yet either).
I can literally see a dead deer every few miles in some places. I imagine a portion of them are hit by larger trucks where an insurance claim isn't necessary.

I kinda got lost with Pokemon the more unrealistic they became. It was bad enough with things like Magnemite in Gen 1. At some point I wondered if maybe I should have got into Digimon instead of Pokemon like my one buddy because the implausible animals makes sense if they aren't flesh and blood... or something. Maybe I could never settle for it to be a sort of magical realism instead of just battling animals (that are like all as smart as dolphins it seems so I guess that's problematic anyways). I'll still play it anyways though.
I've been watching through Star Wars The Clone Wars to fill in some more backstory while watching Ahsoka. Just watched S2E05 and I was just like 
the whole time with all the depiction of war. Ain't this a kids show? lol "Bring up the flamethrowers", against the Geonosian bug people. 😟

I always like to add "least educated" or "most stupid" in there too to hit the shit education angle too, a la that one Arab reporter lady saying usians aren't the most intellectual or whatnot meme that's spread around here.
