Added the community to our backlog.
I'm currently indexing lemmy communities starting from the most active using my new workflow and once I have a lot indexed I will rework categories a bit and push a big update to the directory so you can expect it be added then. The update will come somewhere next month though but for now you can enjoy a slightly reorganised markdown for our limited list of communities.
I can't tell why it doesn't want to federate either and I remember there being an issue with some instance where it showed a really outdated version of the posts too.
That's their fetish.
Yep! I made piefed account and a testing community to check of how things work. Here are my findings:
1.) It didn't backfill on discovery/subscription. (Was later told that comments/votes aren't backfilled either. Supposedly 50 newest posts are supposed to be fetched but seems like it doesn't work with lemmy.)
2.) Poll didn't federate after the subscription so I assume it doesn't even federate as a normal post. (Was later confirmed that it's indeed the case.)
3.) Normal posts that lemmy can handle like 'discussion' type get federated correctly like we can see there.

Comment from banned user test.
That one worked.
Piefed has a great community setting feature making them a bit more reliable/useful although it doesn't fix how people are using it:
Their instance seems to be back up again. A sad day for us all.
What's the source? The art looks pretty.
