Here's how things will go:

1.) I will prioritize users that were/are engaging with this community in on-topic manner.

2.) I will prioritize users that don't have (much) controversial history.

3.) I will prioritize users that have regular activity on their account to make sure things will be actually moderated.

4.) I will prioritize users that don't moderate many communities.

5.) You can share something simple about what would you like to do with the community. For example keeping it like it was so far and just moderating titles, spam, and some posts that really lack any 'hmmm' value. Or changing the rules a bit and adding "nothing political" alongside other things. Up to you to share your views. I don't expect anything long, just something short and on point.

6.) I will not pay attention to the votes on applications although I may look into it if the user gets downvoted to see if there's a reason.

7.) I will pick 2 moderators next day to ensure a better moderation coverage. Doesn't matter if those mods decide to recruit some other users from the application.

Would be good if at least one mod had an account on LW because there are report federation issues (should be fixed in lemmy v1) and mod action taking issues. For example I can't moderate or demote someone using an account that's on a remote instance to the community AFAIK. Other actions like content removals/bans should work but who knows when even if the OP themselves removes the post it can have a federation hiccup and not federate to other instances.

They recently started posting lots on piefed too! You will find their communities on piefed.social and I find them personally pretty quality.

This is what I was referring to, your understanding is distorted because BOTH fall under the discoverability. You're bending the reality around you so that it fits your agenda ignoring literally anything that is said to you. The communities aren't forced upon you either as it's you choosing which feeds you follow the exact same way posts are added to a community you follow so they're not forced upon you buddy. Or what, should we get rid of communities as well? XDD Let's go back to microblogging where we can scream into the void that we can't navigate through due to almost nothing of organisation besides the tags maybe that can't even be moderated unlike communities/feeds. I guess we should get rid of the concept of tags too given your perspective on organisaton and discoverability of things you're interested in? Some of your points are valid but a lot of them are incoherent and ignore reality. Some of the suggestions are terrible for everyone out there too due to ignoring of that reality. I'd work great if the world worked the way you perceive it through your mind though.
