I didn't ask for recommendations. I just shared what I miss and lemmy in no way will replace them for me due to low traffic like I mentioned at the top of my comment. I know those communities exist. I'm working on indexing communities for [email protected] after all although it's behind the scenes so the current form isn't representative of what I know of.

I wouldn't recommend creating communities for the sake of creating them unless you can commit to posting and moderating them.
Just finished.
There's my list the communities I miss and it's not even a full list. Majority of them don't exist on the threadiverse but there are some that do but the problem there is that pretty much everything is dead/stale.
Few dozen communities here.

And countless other art and niche communities.
Yes, that happens when you edit the post after the fact. When it's marked on the initial post then there's no such problem.
Leaving a comment there so I remember to share the list later.
It's marked as NSFW for me so it must have failed to federate to your server because lemmy is special like that.
Also if anyone asked I wasn't under this post.
I may be missing the joke but it's the community name.
Will you let me inhale the fumes once you do? 👉👈
Oh? I didn't expect anyone to post anything there. The original community creator quit lemmy and after months of being unmoderated I took over some of their communities. This one is something that wasn't populated by them because they quit soon after creating it. I planned on nuking this community because it's a niche where the person in charge quit with no one to maintain it. Originally it was [email protected] but the creator wanted to expand on the topic to include anything religious. Things like religions, cults, related architecture, angels, stuff from myths etc. What are your thoughts on this community? Do you think if it's worth keeping around or is the scope too narrow? I have ~40 000 artworks on my pc so I would be able to contribute a bit myself but I was hestiant because it felt like something where other people wouldn't contribute to. It's not exactly a theme that I'm into either and I have my own themed communities.
(Also I haven't finished up the rules I mentioned earlier because I got distracted by working on [email protected] again, sowwy.)
I love art so it's very much for me. I can see how it wouldn't seem attractive to people that aren't into that type of stuff though.
I will look forward to them then! :D
