I agree instinctively, is there a reason why this is the case?

It is natural conclusion of orientalization with cultural hegemony of West that the orientalized will adopt the orientalist perspectives. This is especially true for arbitrary and inauthentic attempts at culture like Saudi monarchy does with its pseudo-revivalism.

Writing scripts have a tendency to shape the languages that are used by them, this is even true for the spoken language in low literacy societies in past. Even if English could not be written well enough with Chinese script now if it was used for a while it would be influenced by it as more of its rules would diffuse to the language and conventions or new meanings would develop. If anything the fact that there are similar features in languages as different as Chinese and Japanese or Arabic and Persian is all the proof one needs one could see this happen in just a few generations in English and Chinese which are similar in many ways despite the different language families.

You realize there is nothing strange about this when you understand most crypto is musical chairs people play with blockchain to win monetary compensation. This gets only more exaggerated the more people participate in it but it's ultimately a closed ecosystem.

This is just straight up rightwing transphobic conspiracy theory. If there is political dialogue in US hyperfocusing on a "hyper-niche" issue it is because of conservatives who revolve their life around bodies of trans people, yet somehow the "rival psyops" isn't existence of said conservatives who make legislation in entire states that affect 1 or 2 trans people but existence of trans people who "suddenly realized they are trans".

It's very strange to me to see how people now seem to be using death of author to completely disconnect the artist from their work in terms of culpability or consequence. I used to never see it as anything but meaning of a work is not beholden to author intent, whether due to author intent being unknown or the meaning transcending author's own intent or even it betraying the author.

Words have meanings and these meanings are not and never have been limited to their most narrow etymological origins. Incel being a shorthand for literal "involuntary celibate" does not mean it is never allowed to mean anything else, much as auspicious does not mean it is seen by looking at birds. Incel at this stage refers to an online subculture and it even means this in languages other than English where neither involuntary nor celibate are used as words.

I didn't even know there were other places connected to this I came here because it's an extraordinarily welcoming leftist space that is fun to browse.

Why is her approval rate less with more educated Mexicans? Just a class thing?

It's impressive how much French are able to get away with in terms of chauvinism, jingoism, imperialism and neo-colonialism not to mention implicit or explicit racism. They managed to craft, I believe by design, an image that appeals across a broad political spectrum by sustaining the view that France is a prestigious and romantic country that ironically is amplified and projected even further by Anglosphere and has purchase even in many leftist circles who idealize France and French.
