So, same punishment when crossing red lights, hmm?

Well, of course, you CAN have that opinion.... Whatever your motivation might be.

My opinion is a bit different. Cars can do more damage than pedestrian or cyclist crossing the road on red. Most times only endangering themselves. An this was my point above as well.

If you cannot or don't want to understand that and call people "idotic"... Well, I guess it only reflects what kind of a person you are.................

Really? Bikes just as bad as cars? You see no difference in a bike hitting someone and a 3ton vehicle? Wow. Did you look at data, how many people get injured or killed by cars - and then compare it to data on Bikes?

And of course, who did not hear about terrorist attacks with bikes driving into crowds?

I though the US is the home of washer/dryer combos? Never seen them in Europe.

You don't need insurance FOR your car. You MUST have a "Haftpflichtversicherung" - but that only covers damage done by you and your car. If you only have that, you'll get exactly 0 Euro.

Most people here have partial coverage, so if glass breaks, you get into an accident with a wild animal or you car gets stolen - and you'll get some money back.

Full coverage would also include stupid mistakes you made. As long as they are not on purpose or done by speeding, drinking and driving and stuff like that.

So yeah, most people with newer cars would have full coverage. Expensive tho. So older cars usually only have partial or none coverage - only "Haftpflichtversicherung" is a must. Without you are not allowed to have a car in traffic.

Had my Fairphone 3 over 5 years now, and I dropped it a few hundred times ago - only equipped with the small "bumper" (a rubber ring around the edges). Only in the end I noticed worse reception - I guess some of the antenna contacts inside came lose. BUT you can totally disassemble the phone yourself and fix that - you only need a normal screwdriver. I upgraded to my Fairphone 5 a few days now - and I'm totally happy with it! Better camera, more storage and better fingerprint sensor.

Plus, they'll support your phone with updates for 8 years, I think.

Naja, vielleicht zurecht?
