Inb4 "actually shoplifting is always cool and based", they're literally shoplifting from a gaza famine relief fund. There's a real corporation's shop right across the road that sells the same chocolate bars and also has zero security they could shoplift from instead.
Everytime someone shoplifts one of the chocolate bars from the oxfam when im on shift i just do the NL bit about imagining them dying in a car crash later that day because they were too distracted eating their chocolate bar

Stuff's starting to go good for me ngl, tonight I'm going to the first meeting of the local film club i joined to see a neorealist film made in Germany just a year after the fall of Berlin, so I've been watching some of the other italian neorealist films to get a context for it in advance. at the oxfam i volunteer at i sold like a billion books yesterday and i managed to find a really good quality Wes Anderson artbook with like interviews with him and loads of behind the scenes stuff for just 4 bucks + i saw the new Anderson film the day before in cinemas and loved it. Last week i was at an art museum with a really creative and clever friend and he asked when his first film releases later this year if i want a free ticket to the first screening along with him and all the actors and stuff and im really excited for that, also i got a really cool artbook at the museum about the progression of art in the first half of the 20th century starting with Monet and leading through the major movements until it got to Picasso. Been dressing nicely, taking care of myself, looking nice, really getting into wearing all my different browns and autumnal colours and stuff. Also I injected last night while watching a corbucci cowboy film which was nice. Idk, its feeling like cvnty boymoder twinkhon (positive) summer.
Idk, it feels like I'm being born for the second time, having a road ahead of me and a path to living in womanhood feels so much better than the suffocating limbo i used to be in - also the whole getting super into films (and kind of art in general on the side) thing's been cool af too.

ngl thats kind of similar to me, though i came to hexbear at age 17 as a repressed gay teen stuck in a very right wing reactionary area of the UK, it was around about the time that george floyd got murdered on camera, britains left had been succesfully couped in front of our eyes and TERF stuff was really starting to take off here, generally just bleak all round. The Drink Exchange quite literally turns a bar into a stock market for an evening with drinks prices rising and falling every few minutes, based upon what is being sold.
From the customer’s point of view, as they enter a bar they will see a selection of drinks prices on the screens (the trading graphics can be customised to suit specific branding). These prices change every few minutes based upon what they buy! So for example, if Heineken sells, then the price rises. If no one is buying Bacardi, then the price will begin to drop.
On top of this, we have the MARKET CRASHES. These are points during the event when prices hit their minimum. This can be across a number of items, all items, or maybe just one item. The screens flash, triggering customers to buy, and as they do so, the prices begin to rise.
As you can imagine this creates a high energy event, that is great interactive fun for the customer. However, the reason it is so effective, is that the bar is in control of all of the above.
Firstly, the bar is in control of the products floated on the stock market. There is no limit to the number of items but normally just between 10 and 20 lines.
Secondly, the bar is in control of the minimum and maximum prices for each product. For example, if there are lines you wish to sell (maybe short-dated, high margin, or possibly new products) you may want to drop these slightly more than others.
And finally, the bar is in control of those all-important MARKET CRASHES. These are incredibly powerful sales driving tools. For example, traditionally maybe the bar knows that everyone leaves at nine thirty on a Friday evening. Great, so CRASH the market at nine twenty and no one is going anywhere!
Using this unique interactive model, bars can increase the length of time a customer spends in the venue. Whilst they are there, the bar can manipulate buying behaviour – whilst the customer thinks it was their idea to drink a Sherry at 8 o’clock on a Thursday evening. This is how The Drink Exchange significantly increases revenues.
Once signed up, the bar can choose how frequently and when they wish to run events – although most run weekly. It is incredibly easy to setup, it literally takes less than 10 minutes to create an event.
And the clever part, is that the system is integrated into over 100 POS systems globally . This means that the price on the TV’s, match the price on the POS. And all our integrations are fully authorised.
