...memory used to be extremely expensive...

When I got my brand new 486 PC, I paid over $800 for a 4 MB SIMM card. That is 4 MEGS, not GIGS, 4 MB. That brought up my memory up to 8 MBs.

I was also king of the hill when I added a second hard drive for a total of 40 MBs!

Divinity: Original Sin 1 and 2. It's not on the switch, but I'm guessing it should run fine on your old laptop since D:OS1 came out in 2014. My wife and I love these games since she isn't very good with fast action, and these are turn based fighting so she can take her time figuring out what to do to whom.

It's also got great couch co-op.

My grandfather, who passed away in the 90s, used to say "cotton pickers" for people that he meant as "jerks". It took me until the 2010s that he was taking about black people. 🤦‍♂️
