Unfortunately, MAGA don’t actually care about the teachings of their supposed religion. MAGA “Christian” beliefs are simply a performative stunt to attempt to justify their homophobic and transphobic bigotries.

I was thinking the same thing! If it’s a super small cable (1mm diameter) couldn’t they have some sort of auto winch that pulled the line back after detonation? I’m not an engineer, so I’d obviously defer to an expert on this.

Morality has always been subjective, especially religion based morality. Governing bodies are inherently preoccupied with exerting as much control as possible over the governed. This is why it’s so important for the government to not hold a monopoly on the threat of violence.
