Points 1-9 being empirically proven is still a BS argument unless you're also supporting banning all loud noises. Using it as a justification for banning loud cars when we are around loud sounds elsewhere.

It might be a case of present morals/ethics being applied to the past, but it's kinda fucked up. It's literally justifying murder and terrorism. Fighting against strike breaking companies is certainly a admirable, but doesn't justify killing people.
This was the line of thought I had as well, it should be so easy to stop this problem as it stands
I'll say that so much of this is unnecessary or even BS. Ban loud cars because they're annoying, that's all that is necessary. Set a decibel limit and if you exceed it then you can be fined. Set time limits like when most people are sleeping so you can have loud cars at some more reasonable times and ban them when people aren't expecting stupidly loud noises.
What do you mean, this bad boy is probably powering a semi-critical government system somewhere, definitely not obsolete.
Edit: not even joking or shitting on it, there's probably a proprietary software system out there somewhere that a contractor was paid to build ages ago. The contractor is out of business or doesn't support it anymore, but it works perfectly in its one little spot. Also an update is gonna cost a quarter of a million dollars.
I've seen disk chart meters at facilities that are 40+ years old and need a new disk chart every so often. You could replace it with a digital meter, but that won't integrate with the rest of the control panel and a third party took over production of the disks 15 years ago. The system works great and it's unlikely to be updated unless they stop making the disk charts.
Edit 2: the correct term is circular chart recorder
I just don't know enough to be sure how I feel. Besides the two people he killed he also injured another 23. What was the thought process for the bomb? From the article and the pictures it was well above the waterline and so based on the size of the hole the bomb would never have sunk the ship. Was he just young and inexperienced, not realizing his bomb wouldn't sink the boat? Was he malicious and just trying to kill people? Was he trying to scare people and not really cause any harm?
Depending on the answers to these answers he's either a monster or an inexperienced kid and I can see cause for leniency or none.
Also, looking at the rest of his history I doubt he would have offered the same pardons he received.
That's kinda fucked up, dude killed some people, never apologized (just that he regretted they got killed at his trial), and dude gets a full pardon?!
I'm not saying he should have been executed, but a full pardon is insane.
MLs? I tried googling it, but the closest approximation is Marxist-Leninists?
Watching Sorted Food (London based food channel on YouTube) it does seem that some Brits enjoy both or one over the other. The majority seem to drink just tea, the next group enjoys both but for different events, and the smallest group is coffee only.
For the middle group it's people who have coffee in the morning and tea at noon/afternoon.
What are you trying to say? Legit question, not sarcasm, just confusion.
I have lived in 4 different cities, two have no noise limit (just a generic don't be loud when it will bother others noise ordinance), the other has an 85 db night time ordinance, and the last is 55/45 db residential day/night (60/55 mixed use, 70/60 industrial).
