Use SteamDB to check price histories. Steam Sales often present the lowest historical price on any game.

Castillo, who moved to the U.S. from Ecuador in 1993, said he has no problem understanding English but has been watching videos to study industry terms. “Some words I don’t understand, but I try to learn more English,” he said.

Asked whether he supports the president’s executive order, Castillo said he voted for Trump

Smh.

Same here. Nobara was too glitchy so I switched to Bazzite and love it so far. Sigh.

I watched anime a lot in my youth and young adulthood, and found that after about 10 years of daily watching I could easily pick up a new show and understand the gist of what was going on. Complex words or exposition tripped me up, though. Nowadays I rarely watch anime but I've been studying Japanese daily on Duolingo for 4 years, and sometimes I'll turn on a Japanese show as practice to try to recognize as many words as I can. It's a totally different beast - Now I actually understand the nuances of sentence structure and have a much larger vocabulary, instead of just knowing a few key words. It's a fun exercise.

The question wasn't "How long until you learned the language" but instead was "How long until you can watch an episode without subtitles". I think there's a huge difference there. Shows that are mostly action and lack a lot of exposition will mostly have simple dialog, and you don't need to have a grasp on sentence structure or have a huge vocabulary when you can just recognize a few key words and get a general understanding.

This is kind of a superpower though, isn't it? I owe much of my success to repeatedly reassessing each situation to find the best possible outcome. I don't understand how anyone can improve their situation by just going with the flow.

Holy shit, I've gotta watch all of those. Are they mostly anime?

I watch a lot of 90s shows - Xena, Buffy, XFiles. They have the perfect combination of camp and charm that just does it for me. ReBoot is a really good one, too. It's the first fully 3d animated TV show and takes place inside of a computer. The main character is an antivirus program. Really neat concept.

Hmm. I'm a huge fan of Steven Universe. It's the quintessential feel-good story intertwined with dread, loss, and trauma. I definitely relate to Pearl's loss and subsequent issues. What are some of your favorites?

Good job standing up for yourself.

Princess Tutu is a favorite of mine too! I'm surprised - it's not a very well known show but it's so creepy and unsettling while also being beautiful and wholesome. No other show I've seen has pulled that off, except maybe Madoka Magica.

Have you watched Utena? This is basically the plot so I think you might enjoy it.

I've always wanted to try sardines and this may be the best way to do it. What is country ketchup, though?
