The problem is fixable in microcode -if- it hasn't already caused damage to the CPU. Most CPUs are fucked.
It also is written vaguely enough to justify attempts to block VPN access and other forms of anonymous media consumption. Basically under the guise that an anonymous user -could- be a child, so they need to be deanonymized and tracked.
Guilty as charged. I would absolutely devour that wheel.
Yup, I run it on my Linux laptop and use steam decks as clients.
Palworld has a dedicated server accessible through steam tools, no license required. I use it myself for my family's instance. The game is still in early access as well, and small improvements keep rolling out.
Yeah, I was a subscriber since they did the Qore magazine thing fifteen years or so ago. I let mine lapse as well. Just not worth it at that price, especially when I have a steam library that lets me game online for free.
I measured using Iconoclasts (low power game) and using default settings it took about 1.4W. Pretty minimal drain honestly.
Well this is a brand new level of crazy. I'm almost impressed.
Pfft, everyone knows Wardenclyffe was built to subdue the horrors brought into the world by Lovecraft.

USB 3.x actually does produce 2.4GHz interference, which could cause stuttering if you use Bluetooth and your adapter is too close to the USB port/hub or a USB 3 device. Shielding for USB 3 devices and cables does matter, and lack of shielding is part of why Chinese devices from Amazon (or worse, Temu/AliExpress) are so cheap. That's about as crazy as it gets though, sorry.
Not likely, though there are plenty of reasons to hate them still.
