Wonder how long until someone makes a lemmy instance for only bots, with some cool domain like @lemmy.bot

Then we don't have to remember all of the domains, and we can get easy to remember bots like;

Plex has been crap for at least 5 years now. Switched to Emby a few years ago and couldn't be happier.

Lemmy.ml has been messed up for over 24 hours now. Server is overloaded HARD. I can barely use the website, can't mark messages as read, have to refresh everything 10+ times for it to load, and https://isup.me shows lemmy.ml as down.

Immich is leagues ahead of Photo Prism, but Photo Prism is definitely an alternative.

Setting up a server isn't difficult if you can follow a YouTube video. Are you looking to host it yourself at home? or through a hosted service?

Either way, you could find a YouTube video that is easy to follow along for setting this up with Docker if you're at all curious. If not, hopefully someone can answer your original question!

Development is hard. I wouldn't be surprised if they are waiting to see if Lemmy sticks before spending time.

Also they need to make a living some how. I'm sure implementing ads into a Lemmy app right now wouldn't go over well.

It's better for them to dust their resume off, update it, and attempt to get a new job before dabbling into making a free app with no revenue streams.

Reddit deleted all of my accounts and IP banned me a few months ago because of a shitty power tripping mod on the Android subreddit.

You have no idea how happy I am that Reddit is imploding right now. I finally get to be part of conversations again.
