Yet another reminder of the superiority of the Steam Deck and PC as a whole.

Yes, censorship is definitely an issue on even the Fediverse. A certain demographic wants the Fediverse to be an echo chamber. Fortunately, there are some instances that don't operate that way.

If people want the Fediverse to replace social media, they're gonna have to accept that there will people they don't agree with.

The major advantage with federation is that you aren't locked to one instance. If an instance censors you, you can find a different one and migrate your profile over there.

Still, the fact that people wig out if you express an opinion they don't agree with is definitely an issue, considering how many Fediverse instances bow to the "free speech for me, not for thee" mentality.

No, it's that Valve reinvests their cut into improving the platform. Wild that devs can't figure that out.

Oh no, I don't mean Edgerunners was my entry. I mean that Cyberpunk 2077 led me to further cyberpunk content, which led me to explore cyberpunk anime after a lifetime of being an ignorant anime hater. I can see why it looked like I meant Edgerunners was my entry though!

That said, I don't hate Edgerunners by any means, I just didn't feel the emotional connection people felt to the characters and story. I enjoyed seeing Night City in anime, and I think there was a lot of talent on display but yeah, I just didn't feel much compared to what others seem to have felt.

Love Valve and I know nothing about these events but I'm not a fan of removing something like this. I mean, with a few exceptions, let people make up their own minds on what offends them or not.

Not a fan of Studio Trigger and I thought the first season was a tad bit overrated but I did enjoy it for how it adapted the very franchise that opened me up to trying anime in the first place, so I'm interested.

Not necessarily. That man has proven he cares about his legacy. I'd severely doubt he hasn't come up with provisions to try to prevent that from happening.

Valve is simply the last major company in this industry that I still like. Imagine that! A company makes bank off of treating customers and employees right! What a novel concept!

Not trying to hate but I am beyond sick of this art style. It's like every western cartoon looks like this, and it's just unappealing to look at.

Which is a shame because it sounds like the game itself is a lot of fun.

First, Apple with Liquid Glass. Now this. We are so back.

But PROTON is the honeypot, right???

I don't know what it's gonna take for these major studios to recognize that gamers want FUN experiences that don't screw them over with a trash business model or shovel current-day political BS into everyone's face. People just want to play great games and feel respected as a customer. Not sure why that is so challenging to corps like this.

Does anyone know of any good DOS games that fit the Easter, spring, colorful aspects of the holiday?

I'm in the mood to play something festive later and I've been on a retro PC kick lately, so I'm just curious if anyone has any suggestions for me to try!
