i ate all many warheads growing up i had this white stuff in my mouth. i was like what the heck? it was dead skin from the upper layer of my tongue. i haven't really had any since. one thing, when my tongue healed and my taste came back i don't know if it was placebo but my tongue felt more sensitive. it might've also been the fact that i couldn't taste anything for a bit from the warhead tomfoolery

I actually started reading it recently! I saw hype a while ago and it was in my reading list and the cover was pretty.

I uhh, yeah there really doesn't seem to be that much substance to it? I check out the database to see if there was anything I could do with the data, and after I checked it didn't seem all that great called the World Inequality Database, link here.

I'm not sure if I'll finish it, like you said the authors centrist and so far appears to be milquetoast. I just, I think honestly I thought the data-driven aspect (quantitive) would be cool but there's not realy sophisticated modelling going kn as far as I can tell.

I don't suggest anyone read it... maybe flip through the first ~20 pages to get a feel for how the largest problems of our day are whittled down to narrow and eventually single issues. It's an interesting piece of rhetoric I'd say, how the author & people reading it come to believe in such a solution.

Hmm, I don't understand the dualism aspect, do you think you could explain to help me understand?

i feel seen, we're two peas in a pod

Yeah that's fair. I was looking at it because I am working on a genealogy of economic & sociological thought. It's necessary to drudge through the mud and see what I can get. Hayek really didn't like the over-reliance on statistics or comprehensive models... imaginary stuff seemed to be the best for him.

Virginia, been there and liked the nature. Or maybe Colorado, a friend said it was good.

To still feel productive and get that high from getting stuff done. I honestly spend hours and hours formatting my reports/papers. I think, I got a few compliments in the past (just the average kind people say when it's clear someone put effort into something) and that solidified my procrastination.

It's usually at least a 2:1 ratio of formatting to actually writing/researching content...

I need help...
