Didn't he have to personally get involved in getting firefighters their compensation for having helped in 9/11? You'd think he'd know better wrt labour rights in the US.

I remember the Saboteur, it was part of that period where if you bought the game firsthand it came with a 1 time use code unlocking certain content, to deter secondhand purchases. The content for the Saboteur was uncensored titties in the burlesque shows you could visit lmfao.

I'll bring up Alpha Protocol, the janky secret agent rpg, it wasn't particularily good, but I remember playing it.

Say what you will for the song, I have no particular fondness for Trek like that, but I find the animatic intro to be fairly evocative along with it, the condensed history of exploration by land sea and air speaks to something in my soul

That period between 2002-2006ish when everybody was flexing their best water shaders, I figure many games chose a tropical island theme to show off their new tech, made for a memorable vibe

The eternal problem of FPTTP voting, of which Canada suffers, is nobody has anything to vote FOR, only against. Thus why Poilievre is gonna be the next PM, not cause people love him or the conservatives, really, they're just the opposition party so people will vote for them to punish the Liberals but ofc, due to FPTTP, this just results in a sort of seesaw elections where people vote whatever the opposition of the time happens to be.

I've heard it called the "millenial woop music" and it has never left my mind ever since. Just groans and moans over the most saccarine 4 chords.

Does the events in Syria count as "low scale border conflict erupts" space? Feels like up until like a month ago Syria was pretty calm, probably doesn't count for border conflict really unless you get into the weeds of who's supporting whom.

Likewise theres been a few natural disasters like Plinky said. Sheesh the bottom left corner was logshots lol

Counterpoint: we shouldn't concern ourselves with those types, and in fact infuriating the treatlerite shopper who would be so mad is more constructive than letting them experience their consumerist bliss, I think

spoilerLetting the President die gets you a special cutscene and dialogue lmfao

I'll always kind of like dumb non-endings like this

Glad to see Rhys Darby still around after those halcyon Flight of the Conchords days

trans-specter todd

Deprogram boys double dipping with the Blowback boys on release day

Was just discussing this concept with some co-workers after reading some article in Macleans that was blaming kids having a hard time adjusting post-covid on playing Fortnite and video games ala Jack Thompson again. Convenient that this video had come out recently, it helps explain a lot of the nuances

I've grown enamoured recently by videos of car restoration after watching some hillbilly dude restore a 70s mustang or something after having had trees grow through it, so watching this was cool up until the restored car was auctioned off to some rich fuck

China should have done the proper thing and appropriated all those retro vehicles and put them in a museum, just deserts methinks.

Can we share comics with the Dunk Tank? It's certainly worthy of it, doing that classic Liberal trope of glossing briefly over the things the Nazis were doing to quickly focus on the ebils of gommulism. I only briefly skimmed it, it was really wrong about a lot so I didn't bother reading more but the characterization of the Molotov-Ribbentop pact as Hitler and Stalin being a twee partnership only for Stalin to be suddenly shocked by Hitlers betrayal is awful.

Tried to find a pirate link to share but it's pretty new and graphic novels are kind of hard to find online
