This should be an instant ban on any part of the internet. I've seen it on Lemmy before.

Day 1 Bethesda bugs are usually pretty funny, so I'm waiting for it to download right now. A friend of mine played Skyrim first time and during the intro cutscene on the wagon where you can't move, he got mobbed by wolves that flipped it over and broke the whole scene. Good stuff.

It's maybe not so obscure now since it's on GOG but Rage of Mages 1 & 2, also known as Allods, famously connected to the horrible Allods Online MMO. I had a CD and even played it online. I remember people made custom farming/cheating maps where a stationary dragon would repeatedly kill high level orcs and you could sneak in and take the loot out of their bags before it got you. The art, animations (especially in the shop), and the music stick with me to this day.

Crack is already out and propagating across the internet. It's up on private trackers right now. Check cs.rin.ru later today and I bet it'll be there. doggirl-thumbsup

Edit: 13 minutes later, and it's there.

I don't know what people would even want out of that that isn't already provided by OpenMW. As far as running at modern resolutions, faster load times, higher FPS, etc. It even runs on phones.

Oblivion is similar enough to Skyrim and Starfield that a remake isn't that far out there. Do people really just want Morrowind in the skin of those games?

They have pretty much nothing in common system or writing wise. I can't see any situation where it isn't just a lesser product.

I have the teardrop necklace thing that came with the special edition of 2, I think. Its tarnished as heck but I like seeing it every time I dig through my closet.

This is kind of spoilers, but if it helps:

spoilerYou can do a quest to get back in the good graces of your god, or embrace the oathbreaker life and get a unique class that way. It's not as lame as just losing all your abilities like in the old games.

American Boy came on inside of a store I was in this week and I unironically thought someone was playing the Fortnite song off of their phone as a joke until the lyrics hit. It's been years and I've never heard the real song.

I'm assuming all of it works, even posts made while we were gone. You should be able to navigate to any of our comms and see everything now.

Its definitely this one. Robin hood is still used for its simplicity (the other more 'serious' trading apps are pretty garbage) but because they also approve hella margin for everyone.

We fumbled our domain for a bit and got it back, but had federation turned off for a little while to make sure the situation was over. If we didn't get it back, we were gonna swap to a different domain, but thats no longer needed.

It is predictable that if you're a worldwide bully (the US) you will try to establish a military presence, through alliances, on the border of your 'enemy'.

It is predictable that the country you are trying to surround (Russia) with those military bases/allies will try to prevent it.

Anyone with the US on their doorstep is in a significantly disadvantaged position to defend themselves from the US' bullshit.

The US baited Ukraine with false promises of joining NATO to provoke Russia into retaliation, kill as many Russians as possible without sparing a single US soldier, and discouraged peace talks at any opportunity to keep the war going.

Now that Ukraine has outlived its usefulness, the US has stopped stringing them along and doesn't care anymore. This was starting under Biden and was finalized by Trump.

All the 'Slava ukraini' people are cheering on is the continuation of a proxy war that has seen the desolation of Ukraine's economy and population.

Russia going home and letting the US enact their original plan is a fantasy. So do you want the death of every Ukranian before it ends?

If someone thinks pointing all this out is somehow "pro-Russia" instead of just focusing on actual motivations for these actions, then they've shut off the critical thinking center of their brain.

Everyone on Hexbear knows and says modern Russia is an oligarchic shit hole similar to the US and would cheer it's downfall in the same way. Except that it's downfall would allow the US to expand and cause even more harm to the rest of the world it exploits.
