Bosses do this with union contracts too, to create tiers with differing interests, splitting and dissipating the opposition

I'd like to think so, though the CPRF have pointed out that the Russian Federation has been increasingly appropriating Soviet imagery, drawing the veneer of national strength and vitality from it while discarding and rejecting socialism and proponents of Soviet thought at the same time. There have been a lot of WWII movies made in Russian Federation that depict Red Army soldiers heroically, but are scrubbed clean of socialism or internationalism, leaving only implicit Russian nationalism.
I always though nobody would voluntarily become faceless henchmen in real life since their purpose in movies is to elicit minimal sympathy when they die, but it turns out they all think they are Batman, hoping their spoopy masks will keep their secret identities and strike terror into communists real and imagined (who are a superstitious and cowardly lot unlike themselves)
Oh yes - my setup is a coffee-table-height lapdesk with mouse and keyboard on it, up against a short shelf that has my laptop on top at eye level. The lower tiers of the shelf have various peripherals, printer paper, the laptop's bag, etc. I sit on a little pillow and there is a blanket for my legs. So cozy.
It was unfortunately all thrown out during the Nazi Federal Republic's annexation of Socialist Germany.
I don't know about the language of Cuba or DPRK's legal code, but I believe both legislate certain matters by way of series of mass meetings involving the participation of broad cross sections of the population. That would suggest to me that the masses would be more familiar with legal language even if it was still encumbered with legacy terms.
Was she? Seems to me project 2025 was slowly being implemented under Biden and Harris would likely have stepped it up. I don't think she would have ripped things up with as much urgency and showmanship as Trump, but her bloodthirst and desire to satisfy Capital still shouldn't be underestimated. "Forget the politicians."
