I mean, being fair here idk if cancel culture 100% applies like for a "normal" celebrity when Kanye has both now cultivated a bigoted political fanbase but also is basically a mainstream lolcow that people are more interested in having in the spotlight to get entertainment from his outbursts and meltdowns rather than limit the harm he can do to others and himself.

To be clear: My main point is that this should not be the example case you use for if cancel culture is real or not.

Fucking embarrassing to have lyrics not only specifically clowning on Kanye but Burzum as well and then do some shit like this.

At the very least you'd expect like a quip about it, not that that would improve the situation but it would make me feel less contempt.

Saw a comparison posted on the twitter link and anyone who claims thats not a Burzum ref is either a whole fucking circus or spitting in your face with contempt lying.

Copied the font like come on, its the same fucking font and all.

I mean, as a white person I feel like I can at least comment that it kinda comes off like it's at least to some extent aimed for me to sorta cheer on from the sidelines for.

Can't exactly comment on wether a scene like this ought to have that vibe or not for white people, but it does make me stop and think like, hang on a minute.

Libs currently insisting on twitter that the yemen humanitarian crisis and charlie hebdo getting shot up are completely equivalent in terms of inspiring bigotry as a reaction.

Shipping companies love the threat of being shot at, its actually super cool for you if you are some random crew shipping air fryers and funko pops to have to get military escorts.

I just dont think that you would get greenlit if you went into any kind of office and pitched "Slapstick Hitler in HELL!", it sounds like a running gag for a struggling artist in a sitcom.

I feel like the only companies that would consider it, would also just not think that the premise is funny enough to survive beyond one or two short films.

The USSR had video games.

And of course also supplied actually physically addictive substances like alcohol and tobacco, even while running public health campaigns to attempt to curb both smoking and drinking.

Tbf while I've heard that Vivzie is kind of a crypto-bigot(not talking bitcoin), you also just like probably couldnt get a show greenlit about just torturing bad people in hell, you might be able to make a french horror movie out of that but idk about an animated show.

Probably also a symptom of like pop culture trying to be subversive about heaven and hell and all that stuff.

Google-buddhism is a funny dunk tbf.

Though its probably a bit more confusing in the context of english where Google is also the verb form, rather than like, "Googla" or whatever they use for that in Danish.
