If Genghis Khan got to taste an LGBT he wouldnt've killed all those people.

More twitter discourse liveblogging.
Seems like some people have a real issue knowing the difference between a-social and anti-social? Someone posted a take about how its bad that we've basically accepted people playing music, watching tiktoks or having loud phone games on without headphones in enclosed spaces like public transportation, and called it antisocial.
And there were a surprising amount of people quote tweeting that with "Actually its more antisocial to wear headphones, if you listen to music without them you're really actually sharing that experience with the people around you." And aside from that being IMO a goofy ass take from someone who doesnt ride the bus, thats just literally not true by the definitions of the words, its more asocial to wear headphones and block out your surroundings, but its definitely not antisocial, as in disrupting society around you.
Of course, theres discourse to be had if antisocial as a concept and word is fundamentally cop-speak, but that didnt really enter the discourse at all, nor did people take notice that further down the original thread the OP suggested that not wearing headphones while doing loud things on your phone should be put in the DSM definition for Narcissistic Personality Disorder, which is a whole different kind of cop brain going on, but nope, all the quote tweets I saw were just complaining about people wearing headphones or how its actually cool and good to blast phone apps on the bus.
It's a live service game anyways, so the base story is probably just a time investment barrier that at best teaches people how to play the game before going out into the real gameplay.
Imagine being Macron and having to respond positively to the Swedish PM doing a ridiculous hinga dinga accent and telling you about how if you don't come to fika you will get an angry lapp(TL: written note) on your door.
I couldn't do that shit, I would tweet at him to stop being so embarrassing and get some dignity.
Not sure if this is a sign that I should step back and take a break but I can't help but feel that sentiments like "Zionists are attempting to turn Jewish imagery into hate symbols, and we CANT LET THEM SUCCEED!" are kind of just self absorbed.
Like it just feels obvious that the only way to actually do that is to dismantle the Israeli state that is physically scarring the flesh and soil of Palestine with the Star of David, and that this shit of like protesting by performatively wearing Jewish symbols to somehow defy that reality just feels like self absorbtion, I can sympathize that its scary and frustrating to have this happen with your iconography, but like what are you actually doing by specifically making a show of continuing to wear those symbols and then posting monologues about it?
Idk, maybe I just need to block all this shit out on twitter and not pay attention to it for a while.
Somehow Finnegans Wake has been translated into many of the larger languages, and the wiki page doesnt mention anything about inaccuracy or being just fucked up, which boggles my mind.
It's so fucking embarrassing, literally like my classmates that had to make up for failed english grades in high school had less of a goofy exaggerated accent than whatever he is doing here.
Have some fucking dignity.
The math is just so against you I can't imagine risking it, you have to do it correctly every time, and if you do it incorrectly you now have to be perfect in a scenario that you make every attempt to avoid to start with, with an intensely fallible human body full of counterproductive instincts that take over when you panic.
There was a case in I think Croatia where they thought there had been a group conspiracy to commit a murder in a cave diving group cause someone went missing out of a group and was then found with a knife in his chest, then it turned out after investigating all possible scenarios that he most likely just did it to himself after he realized he fucked up and was going to suffocate or drown for certain.
It's for both, it just stands for homosexual.
Lesbians generally still call themselves lesbian, while gay men typically use the Swedish equivalent for gay, "bög", or just say gay as if it was a Swedish word.
I can't claim to know the reasons for why the acronym became HBTQ, if it was just because homosexuell was the more common term at the time, or if it was to be clearer than having two B's.
This is just commenting on inane twitter drama again but the whole GLBT street discourse and specifically about how supposedly(claimed by the person initiating discourse) the L is before G in the english acronym to signal that women arent second class in the community(and also because lesbians helped out during AIDS? strange detail), is very funny to me given how in my country the acronym doesn't even contain an L, its just HBTQ.
I feel like I came out this video not having any idea what the film actually was about.
Maybe thats representative of the experience though.
Half the trailer feels like a pisstake, yep its peak Kojima, fucking guitar tesla coil weapon.
