So can I subscribe to !nyaa@pt.nyaa.social from here? Because I know mastodon-lemmy is mostly one way, can't really subscribe to a masto tag or user from here, but if Piefed is structured similarly...

Edit: Jerboa opens the community for me at least, now I only need that subscription to process. Looks like it's working though.

The more obvious choice would be to make everyone go dark, instead of setting up nationwide voice mail to pretend everyone is alive. But maybe this way they can keep everyone's communications open while also fooling most of these intelligence gathering methods (someone answered, in the right language, mark it as active).

Not really early Germanic though, because every other Germanic language kept the meaning of "animal". It's only modern English (since the 1500s) that narrowed it all the way to one specific species (or family of Cervidae).

My guess would be that the language gained the word "animal" from French and "deer" was pushed from its niche and forced to specialize?

Found purple pretty quickly, but honestly couldn't think of blue's connection. Should've trusted my instinct, purple is always blank something.

I'm not an American eitherI went ball-gloves-jackets and guessed that either "blocks" or "foils" could be some jargon I wasn't familiar with. I originally saw "stops" as in "short stop", but I needed that for green.

How strong is that spider that it can lift a turtle? Will one nuke be enough?

Purple/blueOh, I'm sorry, I thought the editors of the New York Times like baseball, but I forgot they're all old money European aristocracy...

Yeah, I was surprised too, I really thought the crop was going to line up. I ended up getting the nose and the watch as close as possible, but as you can see the head needed to be squashed into a little gremlin face.

The reverse image search spotted it well, but it isn't the same image. It's very likely the source where the image generator got its ideas from though: https://lemmy.world/post/31578519/17746077

Lemmy.zip is down and probably took DailyGameBot down with it, so here is a fleshy human doing a machine's work.

Edit: Argh, this community is on lemmy.zip, so you'll probably only see this when the bot is back up (^_^')

I'm interested to hear about anime that give a different experience when putting the episodes in a different order. They can be official orders (broadcast vs dvd) or fan orders (moving arcs around, putting seasons in chronological vs release order). Maybe you can even think of examples where a companion movie is inserted in the middle of a season? Two separate projects by the same author or studio that can be weaved together to form a consistent whole?

Have to add that we work exclusively in strongly-typed languages. Kinda want to see how it plays out, but I can't help but argue with him, so I think I'll just go.

Getting +18 mult from Ride the Bus, +24 mult from Blueprint (looking at Erosion), +24 mult from Erosion, x1.5 mult from holographic Scholar and another x1.5 mult from a copied holographic Scholar for a total of nearly 19000 points. If I play an ace, it's not even that much more, only 8 mult from the Scholars? Trying to whittle my deck down to only aces so I can play four of a kind, but even then most of the mult will be Erosion.
