This is definitely giving me flashbacks during my time in the corporate world. There was one report that was replete with copy and pasting, the poor lady who used to do it apparently had to pull all-nighters doing it. I rebuilt everything in Access using some SQL and the new process only took 15 minutes to run.

I'm trying to think which will go longer (part of the least failure bit), hence my emphasis on reduced life expectancy from heat.

Speaking of case, that's another important point; I can't bear the idea of going caseless, dust build up is going to cause problems as well.

Yikes, even if agreed upon having to let someone in for inspections every 6 months sounds tiring.

Living in a place where renting is not the norm, what's this about 18 year olds coming to your home every 6 months?

Probably packing more into the same space. Battery capacities have been going up and that's weight. Phones are getting bigger too. A few mm here and there and it's an extra 30% in volume, which also translates to more mass.

Man, it has been a while, as I don't use the 9T as the daily phone now. I think I recall The Verge as one of the sites, because I wasn't expecting it from them. It happened only a few times, and it wasn't site-wide. Can't remember which pages triggered it though.

Haha, don't I know it. I've had to work with some of them in a past life. Messy and also very scary at how they underpin million dollar decisions.

That's really up to you. Some people like having to not use their phone, so there's nothing disturbing their listening experience. Or having to worry about battery life.

I admit, for me, I really like the idea of having dedicated controls, and a volume wheel. It's a small thing, but I realise I prefer controlling volume via a wheel.

Fans generally don't fail, and if you use a cooler that has at least two fans, you have some redundancy.

Using a non-passive cooler is better I feel as reduced heat adds to the reliability.

WTF, seriously? VBA feels more like a scripting addon (which I suppose it is), not something to build wholesale CRITICAL programs with.

I do wonder if the HFE issues have to do with it as well, Overall it's actually good news, as it means people who really need a flat are a lot more likely to get it.

People aren't putting content much on the open web as they used to as well. Think the high point was when blogs were a thing, the second high point was during the Geocities et all free webspace peroid.
