At least it was quick. They ran over his skull without hesitation instead of getting squeezed like a tube of toothpaste from the feet up like the Tinymen at the Square.

Edit: Thanks for the gold kind stranger!

Of course. You first see them unarmed in the sniper tutorial mission. But they late show up armed in the Armoured bulldozer mission, when your objective is to destroy as many homes as possible before the ceasefire timer runs out. The children can basically one-shot you with a single stone.

They learned from the best. Americans have been doing this with all sorts of media for ages. Black Hawk down slaughtering Africans in a "heroic last stand". Chris Kyle just straight up mass-murdering people predator-style with high-tech weapons. And while I haven't seen it, Warfare (came out this year) is probably another one on about some Iraq war-crimes.

Then there's the fictional stuff like Rambo mowing down hordes of faceless Asians. Jack Bower torturing Arabs for "the greater good".

And a shout out to Ken Burns for whitewashing American war-crimes in Vietnam for several hours.

Still, incredibly fucked.

And you don't have to obsessively track calories. Just knowing how calories dense some foods are will give you pause. For example: It takes about 1 hour of moderate intensity walking to burn 300 kCal, that's like 5 Oreo cookies. So if you're a person with a sweet tooth you inhale those in less than a minute.
