If you read the damn article, you'd know it has nothing to do with it's chemical properties, but the geometry of the fibers forcing cells to rupture as they stretch to encapsulate the tissues, and it's THOSE chemicals that are harmful to the Aviolic tissues.

It's entirely subjective, like wine tasting. Sweetness in such a bitter drink is more about what flavor notes exist that your brain associates with sweetness. Apple spice coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, and certain floral notes like vanilla will pull "sweet-adjacent" associations in your mind that form a melody with the taste and smell.
Could it not just be a war trophy? The frog representing some "barbaric hoard" that the great dragon king put down? What is it that makes it pagan besides the lack of a cross?

'95 here. I not only burned disks, but we had one of them fancy schmancy monochrome label burner disk drives. So many MS Word font effects were burned that I'm sure I lost 20 IQ points from the plastic fumes.

We have that one. It's a tiny indie gem called No Man's Sky, and, get this, there's no cutscene when you leave the planet!
I would be interested in hearing of any country with the sheer volume of immigrants that the US has from every continent. We have migrants from every European nation, africa (including modern african culture, not just the results of the slave trade and imancipation), asian immigrants, including China, Japan, Veitnamese, Indian, even indigenous peoples as far as Oceania. And every culture is represented in our own, much to the dismay of those that believe our great works came solely from white hands. Our democracy is founded on a melting pot of ideas and inputs, not a euro-centric empire graciously allowing "lesser men" in it's borders.
Public media does not mean there isn't someone powerful pulling the strings. Public works aren't funded by us, they're funded by the agencies that reserve the right to pull said funding regardless of public support. We fund those agencies.
