Is your bum going to be salvageable?

We've been throwing cheese slices on them in Wisconsin. It'll be more fun when it gets hot.
I went five minutes after polls opened at 7 this morning, and I was voter 125. Insane turnout.
I'm so happy to see these types of therapy progressing! I don't live in a legal state, but I connected with advocates years ago and found a local therapist who is supportive of these tools. I can't say enough about how effective psilocybin and LSD have been in long-term relief from PTSD and depression symptoms.
I grew up in a home where substance abuse was a huge problem, and it left me with a drug stigma. It took me months after I procured LSD to work myself up to taking my first dose. Now, psilocybin is a regular part of my treatment regimen. It's so, so helpful. I hope anyone who would benefit from psychedelic drugs has the option of pursuing this therapy.
This is a beautiful comment. Thank you.
Edit to add: Congratulations on doing the hard work and getting to a better place!
I wouldn't bother, they think depression is something you can just send away.
This is such a toxic take, and it further dissuades people from getting help. Shame and judgement are huge internal barriers for many people that prevent those who need care from asking for it, and hearing ignorant and dismissive assessments about our struggles from healthy people only reinforces this problematic inner monologue.
We don't think less of diabetics for needing insulin. Mental health care is healthcare. If you are struggling, please know you're not less than anyone for having mental health conditions. Don't be ashamed, and please pursue any and all care options available to you. There's also a wonderful community full of understanding people who want to help support you, too!
Thank you so much for sharing this. Finding opportunities today to be active and resist has helped me feel less powerless in all of this. I have shared it with some like-minded allies, and it helped boost their morale, too.
That is an excellent suggestion. I would also like to add Jack London's To Build A Fire for a similar impact.
I was in Dingle, Ireland. We were walking around, enjoying the town, and popped into a pub I didn't catch the name of. Their menu looked good, so we decided to get some food. I ordered the tuna melt, and it was the best damned tuna melt I have ever had. The fish tasted great, and there was very little dressing. The red Cheddar was perfectly melted, and the rye bread was toasted, but light.
This was almost 18 years ago, and I still think about that sandwich.
As a Wisconsinite, I'm sad they don't list the size of the hodag.
The elk are probably really happy to have Diesel! Donkeys are incredible livestock guardians. They will stomp a coyote or wolf into a fine paste to keep their friends safe.
Most NPR stations have shows you can call in to. It may be too late for tomorrow depending on where you are, but it's a great way to get the attention of people who likely have similar values and may not be as tech savvy. I wouldn't necessarily recommend mentioning it to the screener, but it's broadcast live. Be informative and brief as possible, just in case they decide to drop you.
