Bump - I’ve been looking for the same without luck. The ones I’ve read were either outdated or I lost interest (lol.) I sought an adhd diagnosis as an adult after reading Unmasking Autism here. I’d never heard of “masking” before in a mental health context, and it suddenly clicked on so many symptoms I’ve had in my life.

Yes definitely. There weren’t a ton out there (mostly on the west coast) but I’ll dm you some if I’ve got them still

Love it. I did some research following up with landscape architecture/eco restoration co-ops back in 2020 - might have some names of existing co-ops you can follow up with if you’re interested. I love the idea, and am glad you found support

I usually fall asleep pretty early (9ish) but I have periods where my sleep cycle is fucked and I wake up at 3. Still though, like you said the solitude is so nice. The cat appreciates another night creature to keep her company too

Maybe it includes at the stations/stops? I’ve seen a few brawls and I’m in a smaller city than nyc

Yeah exactly - as I posted that it occurred to be that it’s a big blind spot for me- having the privilege to assume charitable readings of things- when for the teachers it had to be incredibly frustrating to have someone miss the point so bad- and like you’re saying, the quantification aspect is often used to push systems to the breaking point (and usually tied to monetization somehow) rather than incorporating into a system of knowledge. Anyway- I have no authority in the group- but fortunately much better teachers have given thought to this and so I pass along their works in reading lists for the group- hopefully at least one person reads at least one recommendation! Facilitating the group often feels like detective work- following the trail of missed points until you find the one that made just enough sense to them for the concept to click. Hell I’ve dedicated a lot of time to trying to do better, and am constantly self-critiquing and finding ways new ways I’ve unintentionally shown my ass recently.

I give them the benefit of the doubt since their heart seems to be in the right place, and they study/restore fish habitat, remove dams, etc. but it was definitely a bruh-moment

When asked why he was so easily coerced by Turkey, Adam’s stated, “well I’d recently watched the documentary film ThanksKilling. I’ve seen what they’re capable of.”

That’s crazy- they just decided to up and strip land for agriculture without any outside forces- at least the NGOs and Coke can save the day pain cynicism aside (death to capitalism, etc) this is cool and good, and you love to see the water quality improvements
