I hadn’t thought that way about the petty bourgeoisie. Interesting perspective.

However. I still can’t tell if your joking. And honestly that’s fine.

I’ll just chuckle reading your comment.

ACAB to me and most of those I’ve talked to it about, means there’s not such thing as a good cop. All cops uphold a damaging system of authority whether they try to be good or not.

I wouldn’t take it so literally as calling someone whose brother is a cop a bastard sympathiser. Although I understand some people do.

I also wouldn’t use it to insult someone who used to be a cop but got woke.

Anyways. I think me and you generally agree but are arguing about semantics ahah.

All cops. Not all former cops.

I’m gonna try explain why it feels like to me you’re kind of missing the point.

Like we can think breaking laws in general is good because it makes these useless laws harder to enforce if a lot of people break them. Ie. its a form of resistance against the state.

But also be staunchly against terrible things like random killings and sexual assault.

One doesn’t entail the other.

But that’s not the law illegalism recommends you to break. This is kinda a strawman.

The Anarchist code of conduct, which the comm is based upon does not encourage random murders lol.

This pic from the comm might help explain:

I think this all very much depends on how exactly you define a state.

But I’d push back on the idea anarchist self organisation takes more effort than states. I don’t think it does. Just that the effort used to uphold states has been formalised and territorialised as “jobs” and sometimes just “culture”.

Please keep posting ahhaha I love this comm

I can’t tell if you’re joking 😭

It really depends who you’re talking about really.

fxomt and cryptagion are quite far from tankies.

I’ve posted plenty of anti-tankie memes in [email protected] and got comments of support from dbzer0 himself.

So I think your whole characterisation is lacking a bit of nuance.

Like here’s how dbzer0 reacted to my anti-uyghur genocide denial meme https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/comment/19511364

Anyways. This convo doesn’t seem particularly fruitful. So I’m gonna disengage I think.
